What a transformation there is to even the most well known locations when lit up in neon lights after nightfall, whether it be a cathedral, hotel, monument or cityscape! Get those scarves and gloves on, though, and stick close to each other as you go from one stop to the next!

There are certain super touristy things to see, but pets seem to forget the artist quarter, where creativity shines, no matter what time of the day or night.

"I suppose this tour is a good opportunity to learn all about that, Chip!" said PetPet.

@ Weary Way Inn
“I'm enjoying the tour very much but it's getting quite cold, isn't it, Chip?” shivered Cheeky.
“Here, wrap my scarf around yourself," replied Chip. "And you can look forward to a lovely mug of hot chocolate when we get back to our accommodation!"

@ Cathedral at Dusk
“Ooh, it's just starting to drizzle, Chip!” said minh ting ling. “Can you hold my torch and map while I dig out my Pac-a-Mac?"
Chip good-naturedly took charge of minh ting ling's possessions while she emptied her rucksack of a pack of sandwiches, a Thermos flask, a pair of galoshes, a bag of toffees, a paperback novel, a bottle of mineral water, an address book, some postage stamps, an assortment of different coloured biros, a bottle opener, a couple of old train tickets, a handful of golden and silver moles, a hotel key, some shopping receipts and a selection of rather battered sachets of salt, sugar and tomato ketchup before locating the Pac-a-Mac right at the bottom. This she donned and then Chip helped her put everything back in her rucksack.

The golden sun dipped slowly below the horizon, showering the travelers in its warm glow, inviting everyone to enjoy the splendor.

@ Clock Tower
“It's a lot darker than it was in the Labyrinth that time, isn't it, Chip?” remarked Caroline Piper, a little nervously.
“At least we shouldn't encounter any scorpions!" replied Chip.

A modern twist of the clock tower, moving quickly into the digital age, lacking the old stye elegance but there's beauty in light as well.

@ The 1950s?
Chip is enjoying Fantastic Buildings when mole comes along. "Look! A special prize!" says mole. Chip looks down and sees something valuable. mole generously lets Chip keep it!
Brick Road (distant)
Dark gray bricks make a durable road for light traffic (no motor vehicles allowed). If we allowed vehicles we'd have to charge a toll to earn revenue for maintenance.
The 1950s?
Wet wtih a fresh rain, the moonless and starless sky casts no ambient light upon the mainstreet, giving it an old fashioned feel of days gone by in black and white.

@ Winter Carnival
Cheeky was distracted by the sounds of loud rustling as Chip unfolded a very large tourist map, in the course of which he succeeded in knocking Cheeky’s hat off. “Put that away, do!” snapped Cheeky. “We’re about to pose beside this amazing scene—the picture will be of your map if you don’t fold it up pronto!”

While Chip paused to drink in the view, jingle started scrabbling in her rucksack for her portable, foldable camping chair. “What are you doing with that, jingle?” asked Chip. “We’ll need to get going in a minute or we’ll be left behind!”

Bobbing on the open water, watching the city bloom to life as the sun sinks below the horizon is calming. Everypet wonders what the view would be from one of these skyscrapers?

“Everything is always darkest just before the dawn,” intoned Waddles.
“It must be very near dawn now, then!" said Chip.

Chip shook paws with Icy. “Well—a lot of these attractions are so lit up you wouldn't think it was night-time!" he said.
