"Mmm! That's a huge amount of hazelnuts!" declared Shadow. "I'm very partial to them myself."
Tuppence flicked over the page of the brochure. "Yeah. You're particularly fond of them when they're coated in nougat, caramel and chocolate and enveloped in a bright red wrapper with Topic printed on it."
Shadow was unabashed. "A hazelnut in every bite, don't forget!"

“I’ve come prepared for anything, Tuppence,” responded Batty. “There’s canvas deck shoes, tennis shoes, flip-flops, sandshoes, walking boots, sandals, loafers—you name it, I’ve got it!”
Dove-Cotes, Cappadocia, Anatolia
Dove-cotes hollowed out of most of the hills around the area. The excrement from pigeons was used as fertilizer. To keep the pigeons safe white paint made from egg and plaster was painted on the sides of the dove-cote to keep martins and foxes from getting at the pigeons and their eggs.
