They are easy to look after but take care that you don't overwater! And your peace lily may benefit from a brief shower once in a while to clear any dust off its leaves. This plant is interesting because what looks like the white flower is actually a specialised leaf bract that grows in a hooded way over the flowers.

Why are eggshells so strong? Not when dropped on the floor, of course, but they do have the power of the dome shape which distributes any weight applied to the top of it to the entire egg.
