What a transformation there is to even the most well known locations when lit up in neon lights after nightfall, whether it be a cathedral, hotel, monument or cityscape! Get those scarves and gloves on, though, and stick close to each other as you go from one stop to the next!

There are certain super touristy things to see, but pets seem to forget the artist quarter, where creativity shines, no matter what time of the day or night.

@ Big City Square
Midori opened its rucksack to change its hat. Inukshuk could see Midori had a large, floppy sunhat, a balaclava, a rain hat, a woolly bobble hat, a beanie, a deerstalker hat and a swimming cap! “Did you bring a fez too?” Inukshuk asked Midori.

The hustle and bustle is famous around the world, everypet should make this a bucket list visit. The neon lights, and the shows on stage, and street performers make this a time you'll never forget.

Harmony studied the sky above. “We could take this opportunity to do a little star-gazing, couldn't we, Midori?”
“Well, that's an interesting hobby, yes," replied Midori. "Look, is that the Bovinus constellation up there, Harmony?"

Throw a paw in the air and hail a cab from the curbside, it's better than standing in the rain, getting wet! Or if not a there's always the bus stop!

@ Cobblestone Court
While Midori paused to drink in the view, Rockstar started scrabbling in her rucksack for her portable, foldable camping chair. “What are you doing with that, Rockstar?” asked Midori. “We’ll need to get going in a minute or we’ll be left behind!”

Midori gazed upwards. "I just saw some bats flying over there, Coal! It's not often you see those!"

@ Weary Way Inn
Midori and Flipper were entranced at reaching this stopping place and eagerly posed for a picture standing on either side of the new attraction they had just seen!

“Was that the call of a nightjar, Midori?” whispered Shadow. "We're not usually up when they're out and about!"

"There's something magical about watching rivers at night-time, isn't there, Brigit?" said Midori dreamily.
"I'm going to try and capture the look of the moonlight on the water," said Brigit.

Midori is enjoying Fantastic Buildings when slider comes along. "Look! A special prize!" says slider. Midori looks down and sees something valuable. slider generously lets Midori keep it!
Brick Road (distant)
Dark gray bricks make a durable road for light traffic (no motor vehicles allowed). If we allowed vehicles we'd have to charge a toll to earn revenue for maintenance.
The 1950s?
Wet wtih a fresh rain, the moonless and starless sky casts no ambient light upon the mainstreet, giving it an old fashioned feel of days gone by in black and white.

“What have you got in your tote bag, Ariella?” asked Midori. “It looks very full!” “I’ve come prepared for anything, Midori,” responded Ariella. “There’s deck shoes, snowshoes, tennis shoes, flip-flops, flippers, walking boots, Wellington boots—you name it, I’ve got it!”

“I could stay here forever, Midori,” said Asparagus. “This is an amazing place!” “Well, you never know what lies ahead, Asparagus. I wouldn't be surprised if the next stop is even better!” said Midori.

@ Castle Sunset
“Ooh, it's just starting to drizzle, Midori!” said mole. “Can you hold my torch and map while I dig out my Pac-a-Mac?"
Midori good-naturedly took charge of mole's possessions while he emptied his rucksack of a pack of sandwiches, a Thermos flask, a pair of galoshes, a bag of toffees, a paperback novel, a bottle of mineral water, an address book, some postage stamps, an assortment of different coloured biros, a bottle opener, a couple of old train tickets, a handful of golden and silver moles, a hotel key, some shopping receipts and a selection of rather battered sachets of salt, sugar and tomato ketchup before locating the Pac-a-Mac right at the bottom. This he donned and then Midori helped him put everything back in his rucksack.

Standing in the observation deck and viewing the city below, one can almost see the race track just beyond the fog. Racing at breakneck speed in a circle might not be your idea of fun but then again, it just might be!

Midori and Choose a name agreed that the variety of environments on their expedition was the best ever! Midori and Choose a name exchanged opinions on which their favourite attraction had been so far!

Midori is considering the merits of another Fantastic Building when Dschinghis Khan comes along. "Wow! That completes the set!" says Dschinghis Khan. Midori is amazed to have collected all three items!

Midori has seen enough buildings to plan its own town, and is tired out. Sylvantra agrees it is time to go home and discuss which building they would most like to live in!
