"The world’s oldest-known ceramics were originally from Çatalhöyük and Jordan Valley in Anatolia," remarked Millicent.
"Well, I'm very happy with the ceramics we bought from the bazaar yesterday!" replied Palila.

"'Many believe that Noah's Ark landed on the Ararat volcano. The mountain is beautiful to look at and is home to incredible natural diversity. It’s one of the highlights of the country, so make sure to check it out when you visit,'" announced Palila.
"Are we climbing the mountain to look for the Ark?" queried Julia.
"Well, if you have stout climbing boots! It's over 16,000 feet!"

The waiter placed milky-looking drinks in tumblers before Toast and Palila. "It smells, good, Palila, what is it?" queried Toast.
"It's Boza, an ancient fermented drink usually made from wheat, millet, barley, oats or bulgur. It's believed to have originated in Turkey more than 8000 years ago!"
"Are they hazelnuts on top?" asked Toast.
"No, they're actually crunchy roasted chickpeas, and a dusting of cinnamon!"

Built in 1385, the Zinciriye Madrasa is also known as Sultan Isa Madrasa, it is a sight everypet will want to see while visiting Turkey. Rich in history and stories, any history buff will love walking the cobblestones of history.

Palila opened his rucksack to find his hat. Iolanthe could see Palila had a beret, a balaclava, a cricket cap, a Tam o' Shanter, a woolly bobble hat, a beanie, a deerstalker hat and a Peruvian chullo!

Sunset on the water is always a beautiful spectacle to behold, and the ferry trip is a perfect way to watch. Ferrying cars and people, the quick 10 minute ride will get you over the water to explore new places.
