What a transformation there is to even the most well known locations when lit up in neon lights after nightfall, whether it be a cathedral, hotel, monument or cityscape! Get those scarves and gloves on, though, and stick close to each other as you go from one stop to the next!
Artists Quarter
There are certain super touristy things to see, but pets seem to forget the artist quarter, where creativity shines, no matter what time of the day or night.

@ Big City Square
“I think my torch is going flat,” said Minerva, shaking it worriedly.
“Don't worry, Minerva," said Nanuk ❤️. "We're going to stick in this group as we go round so it's quite safe."

While Nanuk ❤️ paused to drink in the view, Coco started scrabbling in his rucksack for his portable, foldable camping chair. “What are you doing with that, Coco?” asked Nanuk ❤️. “We’ll need to get going in a minute or we’ll be left behind!”

“What have you got in your tote bag, Violet Flame?” asked Nanuk ❤️. “It looks very full!” “I’ve come prepared for anything, Nanuk ❤️,” responded Violet Flame. “There’s deck shoes, snowshoes, tennis shoes, flip-flops, flippers, walking boots, Wellington boots—you name it, I’ve got it!”

“I'm enjoying the tour very much but it's getting quite cold, isn't it, Nanuk ❤️?” shivered Nicole.
“Here, wrap my scarf around yourself," replied Nanuk ❤️. "And you can look forward to a lovely mug of hot chocolate when we get back to our accommodation!"

The golden sun dipped slowly below the horizon, showering the travelers in its warm glow, inviting everyone to enjoy the splendor.

“Ooh, it's just starting to drizzle, Nanuk ❤️!” said Sunshine. “Can you hold my torch and map while I dig out my Pac-a-Mac?"
Nanuk ❤️ good-naturedly took charge of Sunshine's possessions while she emptied her rucksack of a pack of sandwiches, a Thermos flask, a pair of galoshes, a bag of toffees, a paperback novel, a bottle of mineral water, an address book, some postage stamps, an assortment of different coloured biros, a bottle opener, a couple of old train tickets, a handful of golden and silver moles, a hotel key, some shopping receipts and a selection of rather battered sachets of salt, sugar and tomato ketchup before locating the Pac-a-Mac right at the bottom. This she donned and then Nanuk ❤️ helped her put everything back in her rucksack.

A modern twist of the clock tower, moving quickly into the digital age, lacking the old stye elegance but there's beauty in light as well.

@ The 1950s?
Nanuk ❤️ is enjoying Fantastic Buildings when Boci comes along. "Look! A special prize!" says Boci. Nanuk ❤️ looks down and sees something valuable. Boci generously lets Nanuk ❤️ keep it!
Brick Road (distant)
Dark gray bricks make a durable road for light traffic (no motor vehicles allowed). If we allowed vehicles we'd have to charge a toll to earn revenue for maintenance.
The 1950s?
Wet wtih a fresh rain, the moonless and starless sky casts no ambient light upon the mainstreet, giving it an old fashioned feel of days gone by in black and white.

Standing in the observation deck and viewing the city below, one can almost see the race track just beyond the fog. Racing at breakneck speed in a circle might not be your idea of fun but then again, it just might be!

Bo was distracted by the sounds of loud rustling as Nanuk ❤️ unfolded a very large tourist map, in the course of which he succeeded in knocking Bo’s hat off. “Put that away, do!” snapped Bo. “We’re about to pose beside this amazing scene—the picture will be of your map if you don’t fold it up pronto!”
