Baby considered this. "Flag of Denmark. White cross on a red field. You know, when I can't sleep, I list in my head all the national flags in the world that use red and white only—there's about twenty of them, you know. Then I go on to blue and white—I'm digressing. I don't know; what's the answer?"
"The Danish flag, the Dannebrog remains the oldest state flag in the world still in use by an independent nation. It has been recognised as in use from 1219," replied Grace.

"According to our tour guide, Carruthers, the two oldest amusement parks in the world are in Denmark! How's that for a fun fact? Denmark is home to the world's oldest amusement park, Bakken, as well as the second oldest one, Tivoli Gardens. Bakken is just a short 20 minute train ride from Copenhagen central station and Tivoli Gardens is located just on the opposite side of the street from the station in the centre of Copenhagen."

"It says here that Aarhus is reputed to be Denmark’s happiest city and one can see why on a city break to Aarhus. First of all, it is small, attractive and easy to get around. Blossom selected another Nidar Smash from the bright yellow bag and crunched pleasurably for a few seconds. "That's a very long play, Grace. Hey, try one of these chocolate crispy corn things! They're sort of sweet and salty at the same time!"

While enjoying walking the dunes and beaches of Denmark, someone put up a quaint and rustic fence. Strange thing about fences, depending on your perspective, you could be keeping something in, or something out.

"Oh, wow, Trish! In Copenhagen we'll be going to a bright pink café called Unicorns & Rainbows! It serves ice cream sprinkled with edible flowers and crumbled meringue, and has its very own pink unicorn on the wall. It says it's the perfect food for unicorns and unicorn hunters alike!"

The Island of Møn is in the Baltic Sea and is a must-see for any nature lover! Check out this scenic 4-mile route of chalk cliffs about two hours' drive from Copenhagen -- there are amazing views from the top of the cliffs.

Gjógv, Faroe Islands
Gorge, named after a 200-metre sea-filled gorge that travels north to the sea. The village was first mentioned in 1584 but it is thought to have been in existence a lot longer. The Gjógv incline railway is the only operating railway in the Faroe Islands and it was installed to transport goods from boats.

Sea And Rock, Faroe Islands
There are no native trees on the Faroe Islands. There is evidence that there may have been some stands of Birch and Hazel before human settlement. There are a few stands of trees that have been planted between 1800 and 1900. This location was also used in the James Bond movie, No Time To Die, and one can see why it was chosen.

The Highland cow is the oldest registered breed of cattle in the world. They have a double coat, the shaggy, oily outer coat covers a softer, fluffier undercoat so the cows keep warm and dry in chilly, wet weather.
