The Pale Islet is known through Creaphoria for having a harsh dry climate with little rainfall. Legends tell the Islet was once a tropical paradise, until three local pets upset the Mighty Sorcerer. A spell was cast cursing the Islet, turning those who upset the Sorcerer into the Lonely Plateaus.

Scholars believe it is an illusion, having something to do with the salt content of the ocean spray. Some pets think it is a blessing from an unknown entity. Others find they can't see the orange hues at all. One thing everypet agrees on - a beautiful sunrise is a beautiful sunrise regardless of how you view it.
