Bright Eyes and Choose a name are excited to find out what is in store for them in the Autumn Experience! As they enter, they each receive a free map! It reads:
Fall Fairground South
Roll up! Roll up! After sunset the fairground is transformed into a glittering arena of swirling lights, with a backdrop of squawks, yelps and howls from pets clinging on for dear life to the scary rollercoaster and whirling round on the fluorescently lit big wheel! The best view is of course from the top, so c'mon, everypet, and have the experience of your life! For pets preferring a gentler ride, hold on tightly to the reins while our carousel horses look after you on a circular journey under a blue starry canopy. Then it's time to indulge in candy, popcorn, gingerbread and pumpkin pie made from the fall harvest! Hopefully everypet will have enough silver moles left to buy a magnificent helium balloon to take home ...

"Would you say it was on a par with coming face-to-face with those wolves suddenly in the Labyrinth?" asked Bright Eyes cheerfully. "Look, you don't have to do it if you don't want; you can watch me go round and then decide."

Asparagus met Bright Eyes at one of the refreshment stands. Asparagus groaned slightly and clutched his tum. “I’m going to go and sit down for a while first, Bright Eyes. I need to recover from that last ride!”

"Just listen to that old fairground pipe organ, zora!" said Bright Eyes. "I love the painted figures, especially the conductor keeping time at the front. You can hear the music all over the fairground!"
"It certainly adds to the atmosphere," said zora. "Hey, the ride's about to start! Let's see if we can hear the music from the top!"

“C’mon, Sassy, let’s check out this ride!" chirped Bright Eyes happily. “I can’t wait to get me some g-force!” Sassy trotted—not quite so enthusiastically—in Bright Eyes’s wake.

Helium is the second lightest and second most abundant element in the observable universe. Its use in filling balloons for our delight is a very minor one, but one we love!
