Pepsi and Elsa are excited to find out what is in store for them in the Autumn Experience! As they enter, they each receive a free map! It reads:
Fall Fairground North
All the fun of the fair is here to provide your pet with entertainment and thrills, from waterslide to big wheel. And has your pet a strong enough stomach for a death-defying rollercoaster ride? To help restore your pet's equilibrium after all the excitements of the fairground rides, there are stalls selling hot potato snacks, popcorn, toffee apples, candy and delicious cakes and other yummy delights made from the autumn harvest produce! We hope everypet will leave clutching at least one of the fun carnival novelties!

Snowball met Pepsi at one of the refreshment stands. Snowball groaned slightly and clutched her tum. “I’m going to go and sit down for a while first, Pepsi. I need to recover from that last ride!”

Fairings is the traditional name for edible souvenirs sold at fairs throughout England. These ginger fairings became associated with Cornish fairs and are still popular in the region.

“Hi, Pepsi!” called out Shadow. “Are you going to join me in having a tasty snack before we go on the other rides?” Pepsi ordered her own portion, and Shadow passed a paper serviette to her.

Maxwell and Pepsi bumped into each other at the food stand. “Granny used to make this for us when we were young,” said Maxwell. “I wonder if this will be as good?”

From the queue, Lalique nervously eyed the fairground ride whirling beside herself and Pepsi. “What if the cable breaks?” she asked. “Oh, that won’t be a problem!” said Pepsi airily. “They can always get another one!”

cucubr plum, just about to board the next ride, paused and looked around the fairground. "I was just wondering if they had one of those nice, gentle rides where you sit in, you know, giant teacups," she said wistfully. Pepsi grinned. "C'mon, cucubr plum, this ride should be on your bucket list! Not that you're going to kick the bucket for many years yet!"

The world's oldest roller coasters descended from specially constructed hills of snow in the gardens of palaces around the Russian capital, St Petersburg, in the 18th century. The slides were built to a height of between 70 ft - 80 ft (21-24 m), had a 50 degree drop. These slides became popular with the Russian upper class."Russian mountains" remains the term for roller coasters in many languages, such as Spanish (la montaña rusa), Italian (montagne russe), and French (les montagnes russes). Ironically, the Russian term for roller coaster, "amerikanskie gorki", translates literally as "American mountains."

"Now it's night-time, this place reminds me a little of our tour round the Labyrinth that time," said Dreamer slightly uneasily.

As sunset falls, you enjoy the ever-changing view as you chug a little further upwards and then pause as each pod takes on its precious cargo of pets eager to enjoy the ride. Then when all the pods are full, the wheel starts to turn, building up speed!

Thimbl and Pepsi were choosing a drink to go with their food when there was suddenly an almighty SPLASH! from the waterslide and they were hit by flying droplets from the pool!

As your day at the fairgrounds comes to a close, there's nothing like biting into a crisp red apple covered with warm, sticky caramel to celebrate all of the fun you've had in the water, high up on ferris wheels and screaming your lungs out on scary roller coasters!
