Episode 1/28: FAIR LADY was strolling down Pork Avenue one day and was surprised to find there was still a phone booth in this day and age. "Just another way for Frank and his fellow swine to make money out of us", she thought. "Still, why not phone a friend? I left my cellphone at home."

Episode 2/28: As FAIR LADY approached the phone booth, a curious thing began to happen. Starting behind FAIR LADY, a grey cloud began to cover the street, taking all of the colour away.
Njagi the zebra and old Fossey the gorilla, who were both entirely black and white, saw the cloud coming.
"It's just like the story you told me about," said Njagi. "The African story of how the pied crow will one day take all the colour from the world!"
"Well we won't be affected!" said Fossey. "But our friends will! Follow me, I have a plan!"

Episode 3/28: "Hey!" shouted FAIR LADY as Fossey and Njagi barged her out of the way. "I was here first! Finders keepers!"
"Look behind you," said Njagi.
"I'm not falling for that!" said FAIR LADY. "What do you think this is, a pantomime?" But she could not help looking. By now the entire street had lost all its colour.
Fossey was already carrying out his plan. The answer to all their problems must begin in a world of only black and white, where no-one was affected by the draining effect of colour loss. He was dialling a friend from the 1950's - Squeezey Skeezle!

Episode 4/28: Fossey was answered by the operator. FAIR LADY was astonished to hear her asking Fossey who he wanted to call ... and when? What kind of a phone booth was this? With that, the three creatures suddenly disappeared. FAIR LADY had a last glimpse of a completely grey street. Had the whole world of PnF had all the colour drained from it? How? Why?

Episode 5/28: Back in the 1950's, Squeezey Skeezle ran a Petective Agency with his Pfuzzle cousins, one of whom was visiting at the time. The phone rang. "I wonder what year this call will be from?" Squeezey asked himself. "It had better be important, I just bought myself my first televizhun ... tellyvishun ... what do they call these things? And I was hoping to see all the cool shows they have on in the afternoon in glorious black, white and grey!"

Episode 6/28: Squeezey's major investment in Science Fiction startups had entitled him to a prototype time travel phone (and plenty else besides). So when Fossey appeared, that was no surprise. But he wasn't expecting three pets at once!
"Hi Squeezey," said Fossey. "The phone booth works just like you said it would."
"Really?" said Squeezey. "so when did you make your call from?"
"2019", said Fossey. Squeezey was amazed.
"I promised I would call you back one day!" said Fossey. "But I kind of missed the 1960's in a haze, and after that the world was just so, uh, colourful ... I wasn't keen to go back to black-and-white. But now 2019 has gone grey and we need your egg timer to fix it!"

Episode 7/28: Squeezey grabbed the egg timer and led the group into the street while Fossey explained. "A story tells of a pied crow laying grey eggs all over the world, replacing coloured eggs. In this way it will steal all colour from the world!"
"And that's a bad thing?" asked Squeezey's pfuzzle cousin.
"Yes," said FAIR LADY. "In 2019 pets come in all colours. Now they can't tell who is who!"
"Well that's no good," said Squeezey. "We better go find those eggs. My egg-timer can move them back in time before they were stolen. That way they will go colourful again and the bird's plan will fail before it begins."

Episode 8/28: Squeezey ushered them all into his car.
"How can driving enable us to travel in time?" asked FAIR LADY.
"You should mix with the right crowd," said Squeezey. "I know all the best inventors ... here in the 50's we can even see pictures broadcast over radio waves!"
"Oh brother!" said FAIR LADY. But to her astonishment, as Squeezey started the car up, there was a flash of colour and the street disappeared.
"How can we tell where we are going?" asked FAIR LADY.
"No, WHEN we are going," smirked Squeezey. "But how we get there? If I tell you that, everyone will have one of these cars and your grandkids will be messin' with yer family history!"

Episode 9/28: There was a lovely full moon and Fossey was taking a much needed nap after the day’s excitement. Skeezle was sitting by the exhaust pipe, checking out the tail lights, fascinated because they came on and went off, came on and went off... Isn’t that wonderful, he thought?
Meanwhile, Njagi almost fell over an egg. How lucky was she not to have stomped on it? Initially she was going to kick it out of the grass, but realised that was not a good option, as it might get broken, so FAIR LADY quickly moved in to retrieved it from under Njagi's hoof!

Episode 10/28: It was late when the pets neared the town. Unfortunately for them, there was an electrical storm brewing, and without a cover on the truck, they were all likely to get wet. If they hurried, they might make it to shelter, but they couldn’t resist stopping near the cactus to pluck a very pretty egg that was just sitting there for all to see!

Episode 11/28: On a visit to the Yawning Mountain, Fossey missed all the fun. While the other pets found the region very exciting, Fossey slept in the back of the car. Njagi tried to climb the mountain like a goat, but kept slipping because, after all, she wasn’t a goat! Skeezle was more sure footed, mainly because he didn’t have dangling legs that went in every which way direction, as he could see Njagi’s were going. Skeezle scampered into the jaws of the mountain, whilst Pfuzzle Furball did a perfect balancing act on the cliff. Skeezle emerged to inform them all that he had indeed discovered an egg!

Episode 12/28: When the pets were visiting Bon Bon, he had warned them about the rogue dragons in a cave near the lagoon. They are fairly harmless, he told them, but they love to scare people with their fiery nostrils. Carefully and quietly, the pets crept toward the fire-lit cave. Luckily one dragon was sleeping soundly at the opening of the cave, but the other was practicing his fire snorting! Like a pro, Fossey handled the fire extinguisher, and FAIR LADY snuck into the cave with Pfuzzle Furball, to retrieve an egg.

Episode 13/28: The moon was out in full force. It gave out an eerie glow over Pet Henge. A few knees were knocking, but the pets were determined to scout for eggs. FAIR LADY handed a torch to Fossey, who was sitting on Njagi's back. He wanted Fossey to prove he was in fact holding an egg, and not some other ghastly find! Skeezle, in the meantime, kept another torch shining on himself, because he wanted to make sure everyone could see him if there were any ghosts out to get him...

Episode 14/28: There is a special time of the day when the shadows cross Uluru and give it a red glow. When the pets visited to search for eggs, they were greeted by numerous kangaroos, who were very curious to see these unique pets. Pfuzzle Furball was nervous, so he climbed onto the roof of the car. Skeezle wasn’t too sure about the roo who was peering in his ear. Njagi, on the other hand, was pleased as punch when one of the roos opened up her pouch to show off the egg inside. Fossey decided this was a wonderful photo opportunity!

Episode 15/28: Bon Bon, the blue dinosaur, invited the pets into his cave to spend the night. He was feeling a little nervous, because a crow had flown in earlier, making quite a lot of squawking noises. Njagi stood outside on the first watch, in case that crow came back. Fossey did a bit of exploring, because he had never been in Bon Bon’s home before. He picked up an egg and stared at it for the longest time. “Is this Bon Bon’s egg?"
"No," answered Pfuzzle Furball. "It most certainly isn’t!”
"Whoopy do," said FAIR LADY, "we have found another egg!"

Episode 16/28: There was something about the appearance of the houses the team were passing? Maybe it was the colour of the exterior paintwork, or perhaps it was their shape? They were inviting, but mysterious...
Skeezle decided to go knocking on doors, and ask the occupants if they had seen any crows flying around lately? The nearby trees looked remarkably like ones that would house crows, so he felt certain this might be a good place to hide eggs!
At the final house, Skeezle knocked on the door to ask the question. No one answered, and as he was walking away he noticed Njagi sitting on the bonnet of the car, alongside Pfuzzle Furball. They both looked excited! Njagi raised a hoof and pointed toward the window. FAIR LADY scampered towards Fossey, who delicately removed an egg from the window sill; and then they all jumped in the car to leave before the home owner returned!

Episode 17/28: “Hmmm,” muttered Skeezle. “The things we will do in order to retrieve an egg! Don’t you think it’s going a bit far to menace with crocodiles?” After some debate, Fossey was given the task of talking to the croc. “Here, little buddy,” he said, and as he tickled the croc under the chin with a fallen branch, FAIR LADY swiftly grabbed the egg from its open mouth!

Episode 18/28: Leaping out of the car, FAIR LADY joined the crew for a drink from the flowing river which was fed by the magnificent falls. The greenery was lush around the crystal blue water and Fossey excitedly started swinging on the vines that hung amongst the tropical trees. “Yesssssssss! I found an egg! It’s time to move on now,” said Fossey

Episode 19/28: “Birds fly high, up in the sky, as we sing our song, while we drive along! We’re doing alright, as the day turns to night, eggs you can bet, are what we’re gonna get! I can see one now, in the tree on that bough!”
"Woo hoo!" cried FAIR LADY, I have just about enough energy to shimmy up that tree and collect it. And he did!

Episode 20/28: The pets had driven for a while with Fossey in the back sleeping soundly, when they heard a very polite “STOP THE CAR! I need the bathroom quickly". While everyone stood around twiddling their thumbs, hooves or tiny toes, Fossey emerged from the bushes with a big smile on his face, and an egg in his hand. “What a lucky Fossey you are!” said Pfuzzle Furball, and Njagi and Skeezle just nodded.

Episode 21/28: Morning had broken and the butterflies were flitting around looking for nectar. The pets were feeling peckish, and looking for their breakfast. They came upon the famous Lolly Dell, where you could find anything your sweet tooth desired! There were iced trees, boiled lolly mountains, and the cutest cup cake bushes in the all-day sucker patch. “Oomphphph!” said Njagi. “What are you trying to say?” asked Fossey. “Oh, Njagi, you’ve found another egg! Be careful, don’t bite too hard.” “Oomphphph!” said Njagi, glaring at Fossey, as she dutifully brought the egg out of the cup cake bush.

Episode 22/28: There was a bright and sparkly fireworks display coming from the ship. Skeezle was getting a bit scared from the bangs and flashes and the whizzes and the whistles, the wobbles and the pops and the fizzes and the hisses! While this was all going on, the team was missing the fireworks, because they were too busy practicing to be circus performers, by balancing on Njagi’s back. “Oh look,” said Fossey. “Does that look like an egg to you, Skeezle?” “I, I, I, I, th-th-th-think so,” stammered Skeezle, “but I am too scared to really look!” “Don’t be silly, this will cheer you up!” said Fossey, picking up the egg that they had spied in the palm!

Episode 23/28: As the sun set and the pets were packing up to go home, Njagi wanted one last chance to take a dip in the lake. She had spent so long blowing up her little floaty frog, that she hadn’t had a chance to enjoy playing with it! "Sorry, no time for that now," the pets all chorused. Once Fossey managed to scoop up the egg on the lily, they would be on their way...

Episode 24/28: “Stop the car! Stop the car!” cried Skeezle. "Look at that wall. We simply must climb up and see if all those rocks will hold us?" That's exactly what Skeezle and Pfuzzle Furball did!
While Fossey was exploring, he put his head through an opening in the wall. For a little while, he wasn’t sure if he was going to be able to get out again, because a whole lot more than his head went into those rocks! “Help me!” he cried, and once free he sat grinning from ear to ear. “I have a surprise for all of you!” he said, and produced a shiny egg.

Episode 25/28: With their Easter baskets full of eggs, the team move on to their next egg hunt destination. But this time, when they arrive, the world is in colour and the egg is in black and white! This means they have achieved their objective, to return colour to the world, and the crow has been defeated! FAIR LADY is so excited, she takes their trusty car for a spin!

Episode 26/28: Having achieved their objective, the team returns to the 1950s. Astonishingly, even the 1950s have become colourful now! Curious about time travel, a 50's Purple Panda Paws wants to travel back to the future with FAIR LADY, Fossey and Njagi. FAIR LADY takes it under her wing, so to speak, and offers to be its host in 2019!

Episode 27/28: In a puff of coloured smoke, FAIR LADY, Fossey, Njagi and their new friend materialise in 2019, to the astonishment of everyone on Pork Avenue! Unfortunately, the smoke has come from their precious time travel car, which now refuses to budge. So FAIR LADY kindly offers to take the car back to her page, and tinker with it, to try to recharge the subatomic particles...

Episode 28/28: Though the team have brought colour back to their world, they are unaware the crow exists in five separate dimensions. Somewhere they can never go to, the pied crow has a nest full of coloured eggs. It throws out the ones the team have turned to black and white, for crows only love shiny things; but there are plenty more coloured eggs left in its nest.

Proud of their efforts,
the team thinks their quest is through;
the lights are dimmed,
and once again the stage is set for you.
