Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 1/25

In a forest far, far away, lived a gnome named Humphrey in a mushroom house. His neighbour, Kit-E-Kat, has the same house and they've been best friend like forever.

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 2/25

As usual, every morning Humphrey would go out looking for nature's harvest as food. He looked high and low under fallen moss covered logs down by the river. That was often the best foraging spot. Especially for his treasured mushrooms.

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 3/25

After checking the fallen logs, he went to the green waterfall to get a drink and wash his face when he noticed something glowing on the other side.

"Whatever can that be?" he thought to himself?

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 4/25

Humphrey went over to where the glow was and what did he find? A Fairy!!! Lying helpless in between the rocks.

"Oh my!" he exclaimed. "The poor thing!"

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 5/25

Humphrey decided to bring the injured fairy home. Kit-E-Kat was outside the house and they chatted a bit before taking the injured fairy inside.

"Do you think this fairy will be ok?"

"I do not know I have never seen one in real life before. I have only ever heard the mythical stories about them but we have to do something to help."

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 6/25

Gently Humphrey placed the fairy on the kitchen table.

"Rest up and get your strength little one. You are safe here."

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 7/25

Knowing the kitchen table could be quite uncomfortable Humphrey took it upon himself to make it a little more cozy for the fairy. He took a pillow and made a makeshift bed for the fairy to rest. While he was sipping tea they get to know each other.

"Might I ask your name?"

"Persephone." came the weak response

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 8/25

Realizing the kitchen was getting a little chilly they moved to the lounge and Humphrey placed the fairy on a sofa. Persephone noticed the Christmas tree and asked about it.

"Why do you have a forest inside your house?"

"In the month of December we celebrate an event called Christmas and we gather around a decorated tree with our friends and family." replied Humphrey.

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 9/25

Later in the evening he took Persephone to his bedroom in the attic. With a hot chocolate he hoped she will get a good night sleep.

Looking around his bedroom Humphrey then realized he still had yet to bring down all his gifts to place under the Christmas tree.

"Better get on that!" he thought as Persephone snored away.

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 10/25

In the morning Humphrey brought the gift boxes and placed them under the tree. Apparently last night he was more tired than he thought and he fell asleep before he could do so.

Suddenly, as he is chatting with Persephone, 3 small lights entered and hovered on top of her. What could they be?!?!

"Do not worry. We are special fairy medics from the Fairy Village sent here to assess and treat Persephone. We understand she took quite a tumble the other day"

After the check up, while awaiting results, they went into the kitchen and had some smoothies for breakfast.

According to the special medics Persephone has a few days before she can travel back to her village. In the mean time Humphrey baked some holiday cookies and chocolate so he could give some to her.

"Try these! I am sure you will enjoy then and they will get you back on your wings in no time!"

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 13/25

After a long morning of baking, they moved back to the lounge and Humphrey continued to decorate the house.

"You and Kit-E-Kat have been so kind to me Humphrey. It would please me ever so much if the both of you would join my family and friends for our version of Christmas in the Fairy Village."

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 14/25

While Persephone was resting once again, Humphrey ran out to meet with Kit-E-Kat and secretly build a fairy house as a gift for the fairy.

"Can you believe she invited us to the village?!?!"

He packed the house in a box so Persephone would not see it and told Kit-E-Kat that they're sending the her home tomorrow.

Both Humphrey and Kit-E-Kat were bursting with excitement at the thought of spending Christmas in the Fairy Village.

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 15/25

"Well Persephone we better get a good sleep tonight as we have a long journey ahead of us tomorrow. I think we have everything ready. At least my backpack here is ready to go."

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 16/25

Morning finally arrived and Humphrey and Persephone met up with Kit-E-Kat to begin the journey to the Fairy Village.

"I am soooo excited!" exclaimed Humphrey. "I have always wanted to go here. I always thought the village was something of a myth and to find out it is real!"

To ensure Persephone's good health on the journey one of the Fairy medics opted to flutter along the path with the crew.

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 17/25

At first the path to the village led them down a sun kissed path the seemed eerily familiar to Humphrey. With leaning trees and fallen leaves he could not shake the feeling he was going a similar route that he had been on before.

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 18/25

"I know this place! This is the best foraging to for food!" exclaimed Humphrey.

The fairies just smiled as they flitted along.

Could the village be somewhere he had already been and not have ever known it?

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 19/25

"Hey! This is where I found you! Are you sure the village is not somewhere I have been before?

Again the fairies just smiled at poor Humphrey who was getting more confused by the moment.

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 20/25

"Where are we? I do not recall ever seeing this place before? Are we still in the forest?"

"Of course it is the forest. You just need to open your eyes to the magic that exists all around you..."

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 21/25

"Are you sure about this?" Humphrey was starting to get a little scared. The light filtering through the trees was taking a reddish hue and nothing was as it appeared. This was not the forest as he knew it. Where were the mushrooms?

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 22/25

"Now THIS is spooky! I know you are fairies and such but has anyone ever spoken to you about aliens?

Humphrey was more afraid than he was letting on. The greenish atmosphere peeking through the trees really had him spooked. He wanted to experience the Fairy Village with Kit-E-Kat but were they really bringing them there or were they being led astray?

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 23/25

And suddenly they arrived!

Humphrey and Kit-E-Kat could not believe their eyes. The magical Fairy Village really, truly DID exist! And to think, this here was Persephone's house! How wonderful!

"Were you afraid Kit-E-Kat? I never was. I knew where we were going the whole time."

"Sure, that explains the trembling and goosebumps I saw..."

Kit-E-Kat is questing! Episode 24/25

"Well Persephone. I guess you would like to know what I have been lugging around all this time."

Humphrey took out the box that he had stashed in his backpack and opened up to the most amazing house that he and Kit-E-Kat had created.

"This here is for you."

"Well thank you Humphrey and Kit-E-Kat. Please enjoy this token of my appreciation for all the care and concern you have both shown me. Now come to the village park and enjoy the Christmas festivities with us all."
