The poppy can have many symbolic meanings in different cultures, for example, restful sleep and recovery. For others, it is a cheery harbinger of summer because of its size and intense colors. On this island there is a huge swathe of red poppies, providing a feast for the eyes and senses.

Pearl had to travel on alone, as Dilly declared she had found her nirvana, and had no intention of moving on!

Lavender is an aromatic evergreen shrub of the mint family, used in scent-making and medicine. Just imagine the amount of perfume that could be made from these vast fields of lavender!

Pearl tumbled out of the tourist bus, flattening Jubb Jubb in the process, then wondering where the muffled groans were coming from?

Arriving at such a wonderful location spurred Pearl on to keep on trekking. However lily sat down, refusing to budge, complaining of blisters on her paws...

@ Island: L'île Mystère
Pearl finally makes it back to the landing stage, where Snowilicious is also about to embark and go home. What an adventure it has been! Pearl pockets a map of L'île Mystère as a momento. The guidebook says:

What an adventure this island will prove to be! There are opportunities for rambling up hill and down dale, and splendid views across lakes and mountains. There are fields of aromatic and colourful flowers. At one point in their exploration the pets will meet a huge reptile but rest assured—it will do no harm! Bon voyage!
