My pets are in awe of these beautiful eggs—they would love to try to paint their own one year. Easter and spring are times of joy as the earth awakens, plants are pushing forth from the soil, and the days are becoming warmer. Many baby animals are born in the spring, and life is burgeoning. May these eggs bring you joy and be a reminder of the earth renewing itself.

“You never know what sort of critter to expect next, do you, Choose a name?" whispered Calypso. “You know, small, cute and furry or really quite, um, large, with—er—very sharp teeth.” Choose a name reassured Calypso that all the critters were looking forward to meeting them, regardless of size, furriness, attractiveness and/or pointiness of teeth.

Choose a name chipped in. “It’s so kind of you to allow us to visit you in your habitat. Calypso and I—and all the rest of us, of course!—are enjoying our mini-safari very much indeed!”

Translucent in color, these colorful creatures anchor themselves to the roots and rocks in the warm waters in the Indian River. Just don't startle them, they don't respond well!

LILJE was sprawled flat on the grass after a good lunch. “What do you reckon is the tiniest creature we've met so far, Calypso?” she queried sleepily.

“Did you see what happened to Foxy earlier, Solo?” exclaimed Calypso. "He was balancing on a log trying to take a selfie with one of the critters we met, and it rolled over and pitched him into a bank of nettles!"
Solo joined in Calypso's heartless laughter. “He was still brushing bits of nettle out of his fur when we went for lunch!”

Taking off from the water's surface, puffins are sometimes confused with penguins, which, they consider a compliment!

The pristine waters fall freely, yet the last frost of the season delicately coats the top of each tier, adding an otherworldly glow as the sun refracts off them.
