What a transformation there is to even the most well known locations when lit up in neon lights after nightfall, whether it be a cathedral, hotel, monument or cityscape! Get those scarves and gloves on, though, and stick close to each other as you go from one stop to the next!
Artists Quarter
There are certain super touristy things to see, but pets seem to forget the artist quarter, where creativity shines, no matter what time of the day or night.

Episode 2/26

@ Big City Square
“Ooh, it's just starting to drizzle, Screech!” said Persephone. “Can you hold my torch and map while I dig out my Pac-a-Mac?"
Screech good-naturedly took charge of Persephone's possessions while she emptied her rucksack of a pack of sandwiches, a Thermos flask, a pair of galoshes, a bag of toffees, a paperback novel, a bottle of mineral water, an address book, some postage stamps, an assortment of different coloured biros, a bottle opener, a couple of old train tickets, a handful of golden and silver moles, a hotel key, some shopping receipts and a selection of rather battered sachets of salt, sugar and tomato ketchup before locating the Pac-a-Mac right at the bottom. This she donned and then Screech helped her put everything back in her rucksack.

The hustle and bustle is famous around the world, everypet should make this a bucket list visit. The neon lights, and the shows on stage, and street performers make this a time you'll never forget.

@ Curbside Pickup
"Wasn’t it worth coming all this way, Screech," said Guaca, "for this experience alone?" Screech, admiring the scene they were now in, heartily agreed!

Throw a paw in the air and hail a cab from the curbside, it's better than standing in the rain, getting wet! Or if not a there's always the bus stop!

@ Cobblestone Court
“Hey, Screech, how are you doing? Long time no see! Are you a night owl?"
Screech shook paws with Geoffrey. “Well—a lot of these attractions are so lit up you wouldn't think it was night-time!" he said.

Worn from years of travel, the old courtyard cobbles silently sit and watch as pets pad on by, listening through the centuries all the stories being told. Why the stories they could tell, if only someone asked.

“If we stayed up long enough, we could catch the sunrise, Screech,” said Koo.
“Gosh, I don't know about that, Koo! It would be amazing but I'm not sure if I could keep my eyes open long enough!"

“What have you got in your tote bag, Turbo?” asked Screech. “It looks very full!” “I’ve come prepared for anything, Screech,” responded Turbo. “There’s deck shoes, snowshoes, tennis shoes, flip-flops, flippers, walking boots, Wellington boots—you name it, I’ve got it!”

@ Cathedral at Dusk
Azure Beauty was distracted by the sounds of loud rustling as Screech unfolded a very large tourist map, in the course of which he succeeded in knocking Azure Beauty’s hat off. “Put that away, do!” snapped Azure Beauty. “We’re about to pose beside this amazing scene—the picture will be of your map if you don’t fold it up pronto!”

The golden sun dipped slowly below the horizon, showering the travelers in its warm glow, inviting everyone to enjoy the splendor.

@ Clock Tower
“Everything is always darkest just before the dawn,” intoned fancy.
“It must be very near dawn now, then!" said Screech.

A modern twist of the clock tower, moving quickly into the digital age, lacking the old stye elegance but there's beauty in light as well.

@ The 1950s?
Screech is enjoying Fantastic Buildings when Amanda comes along. "Look! A special prize!" says Amanda. Screech looks down and sees something valuable. Amanda generously lets Screech keep it!
Brick Road (distant)
Dark gray bricks make a durable road for light traffic (no motor vehicles allowed). If we allowed vehicles we'd have to charge a toll to earn revenue for maintenance.
The 1950s?
Wet wtih a fresh rain, the moonless and starless sky casts no ambient light upon the mainstreet, giving it an old fashioned feel of days gone by in black and white.

@ Winter Carnival

Screech opened his rucksack to change his hat. Timothy could see Screech had a large, floppy sunhat, a balaclava, a rain hat, a woolly bobble hat, a beanie, a deerstalker hat and a swimming cap! “Did you bring a fez too?” Timothy asked Screech.

Bobbing on the open water, watching the city bloom to life as the sun sinks below the horizon is calming. Everypet wonders what the view would be from one of these skyscrapers?

“It's a lot darker than it was in the Labyrinth that time, isn't it, Screech?” remarked Rusty, a little nervously.
“At least we shouldn't encounter any scorpions!" replied Screech.

"You know, the settings on your camera have to be different for a night scene," remarked Screech.
"I suppose this tour is a good opportunity to learn all about that, Screech!" said Persephone.

Standing in the observation deck and viewing the city below, one can almost see the race track just beyond the fog. Racing at breakneck speed in a circle might not be your idea of fun but then again, it just might be!

While Screech paused to drink in the view, Choose a name ♡ Molly started scrabbling in her rucksack for her portable, foldable camping chair. “What are you doing with that, Choose a name ♡ Molly?” asked Screech. “We’ll need to get going in a minute or we’ll be left behind!”

"Was that the call of a barn owl just then, Screech?" asked ceefa.
"It might have been, ceefa! Let's pause for a minute and see if we hear it again."

Screech is considering the merits of another Fantastic Building when Fala comes along. "Wow! That completes the set!" says Fala. Screech is amazed to have collected all three items!

Screech has seen enough buildings to plan his own town, and is tired out. Mrs. P agrees it is time to go home and discuss which building they would most like to live in!
