Captain Manwaring and Dante are excited to find out what is in store for them in the Autumn Experience! As they enter, they each receive a free map! It reads:
Fall Fairground South
Roll up! Roll up! After sunset the fairground is transformed into a glittering arena of swirling lights, with a backdrop of squawks, yelps and howls from pets clinging on for dear life to the scary rollercoaster and whirling round on the fluorescently lit big wheel! The best view is of course from the top, so c'mon, everypet, and have the experience of your life! For pets preferring a gentler ride, hold on tightly to the reins while our carousel horses look after you on a circular journey under a blue starry canopy. Then it's time to indulge in candy, popcorn, gingerbread and pumpkin pie made from the fall harvest! Hopefully everypet will have enough silver moles left to buy a magnificent helium balloon to take home ...

Rosa got carefully down from the ride, stumbling slightly and holding tightly onto the sides. "I say, you do look a bit green, Rosa, old thing!" said Captain Manwaring. "I'm reminded of when you got seasick on our Crocodile Creek trip!"
"I was not seasick," said Rosa with dignity. "I had merely eaten something that disagreed with me."

"Now it's night-time, this place reminds me a little of our tour round the Labyrinth that time," said Hipster slightly uneasily.
"Don't worry, Hipster," said Captain Manwaring jovially. "No scorpions, snakes or spiders here! The thrills are of a—different nature!"

Bill met Captain Manwaring at one of the refreshment stands. Bill groaned slightly and clutched his tum. “I’m going to go and sit down for a while first, Captain Manwaring. I need to recover from that last ride!”

MooDonna hesitated as she and Captain Manwaring approached the next ride. "I don't know, Captain Manwaring, it makes me feel a bit scared!"
"Would you say it was on a par with coming face-to-face with those wolves suddenly in the Labyrinth?" asked Captain Manwaring cheerfully. "Look, you don't have to do it if you don't want; you can watch me go round and then decide."
