What a transformation there is to even the most well known locations when lit up in neon lights after nightfall, whether it be a cathedral, hotel, monument or cityscape! Get those scarves and gloves on, though, and stick close to each other as you go from one stop to the next!
Artists Quarter
There are certain super touristy things to see, but pets seem to forget the artist quarter, where creativity shines, no matter what time of the day or night.

@ Big City Square
“Hey, Scarlett O’Birda, how are you doing? Long time no see! Are you a night owl?"
Scarlett O’Birda shook paws with frisky. “Well—a lot of these attractions are so lit up you wouldn't think it was night-time!" she said.

The hustle and bustle is famous around the world, everypet should make this a bucket list visit. The neon lights, and the shows on stage, and street performers make this a time you'll never forget.

@ Curbside Pickup
"You know, the settings on your camera have to be different for a night scene," remarked Scarlett O’Birda.
"I suppose this tour is a good opportunity to learn all about that, Scarlett O’Birda!" said Coffee.

Throw a paw in the air and hail a cab from the curbside, it's better than standing in the rain, getting wet! Or if not a there's always the bus stop!

@ Cobblestone Court
“Ooh, it's just starting to drizzle, Scarlett O’Birda!” said Flicker. “Can you hold my torch and map while I dig out my Pac-a-Mac?"
Scarlett O’Birda good-naturedly took charge of Flicker's possessions while it emptied its rucksack of a pack of sandwiches, a Thermos flask, a pair of galoshes, a bag of toffees, a paperback novel, a bottle of mineral water, an address book, some postage stamps, an assortment of different coloured biros, a bottle opener, a couple of old train tickets, a handful of golden and silver moles, a hotel key, some shopping receipts and a selection of rather battered sachets of salt, sugar and tomato ketchup before locating the Pac-a-Mac right at the bottom. This it donned and then Scarlett O’Birda helped them put everything back in its rucksack.
Cobblestone Court
Worn from years of travel, the old courtyard cobbles silently sit and watch as pets pad on by, listening through the centuries all the stories being told. Why the stories they could tell, if only someone asked.

@ City Scapes
Horse's Neck Jay studied the sky above. “We could take this opportunity to do a little star-gazing, couldn't we, Scarlett O’Birda?”
“Well, that's an interesting hobby, yes," replied Scarlett O’Birda. "Look, is that the Bovinus constellation up there, Horse's Neck Jay?"
City Scapes
Like a sea of lava, heading to the ocean, so is the sea of pets traveling in the big city, on a river of light.

Scarlett O’Birda gazed upwards. "I just saw some bats flying over there, Milagros! It's not often you see those!"

“If we stayed up long enough, we could catch the sunrise, Scarlett O’Birda,” said Sabrina.
“Gosh, I don't know about that, Sabrina! It would be amazing but I'm not sure if I could keep my eyes open long enough!"

“What have you got in your tote bag, Butterscotch?” asked Scarlett O’Birda. “It looks very full!” “I’ve come prepared for anything, Scarlett O’Birda,” responded Butterscotch. “There’s deck shoes, snowshoes, tennis shoes, flip-flops, flippers, walking boots, Wellington boots—you name it, I’ve got it!”

A modern twist of the clock tower, moving quickly into the digital age, lacking the old stye elegance but there's beauty in light as well.

@ The 1950s?
Scarlett O’Birda is enjoying Fantastic Buildings when MELODEE comes along. "Look! A special prize!" says MELODEE. Scarlett O’Birda looks down and sees something valuable. MELODEE generously lets Scarlett O’Birda keep it!
Brick Road (distant)
Dark gray bricks make a durable road for light traffic (no motor vehicles allowed). If we allowed vehicles we'd have to charge a toll to earn revenue for maintenance.
The 1950s?
Wet wtih a fresh rain, the moonless and starless sky casts no ambient light upon the mainstreet, giving it an old fashioned feel of days gone by in black and white.

“Here, wrap my scarf around yourself," replied Scarlett O’Birda. "And you can look forward to a lovely mug of hot chocolate when we get back to our accommodation!"
City by the Sea

Standing in the observation deck and viewing the city below, one can almost see the race track just beyond the fog. Racing at breakneck speed in a circle might not be your idea of fun but then again, it just might be!
