While Franny was whistling through her teeth as they ambled through another breathtaking scene, PingPing was secretly wishing she had packed ear plugs, or gaffer tape for Franny's mug!

Franny gazed around in awe, while Elmeri mumbled and grumbled about Franny's shortcut being no shortcut at all, if the blisters on his paws were anything to go by!

After months of planning, Franny and Lalique finally agreed on where they would travel together, and they are both secretly please with their choice!

Arriving at such a wonderful location spurred Franny on to keep on trekking. However Toothless sat down, refusing to budge, complaining of blisters on his paws...

The tranquility of the scene they had stumbled across made Franny and Coal feel like they were the only pets left in PnF Land...

The poppy can have many symbolic meanings in different cultures, for example, restful sleep and recovery. For others, it is a cheery harbinger of summer because of its size and intense colors. On this island there is a huge swathe of red poppies, providing a feast for the eyes and senses.

What better place could there be for happy young pets than a game of hide and seek in this never-ending vista of yellow? Everypet is soon covered with pollen from nose, beak, snout or muzzle to tail! Just don't sneeze and give your whereabouts away! ... ninety-nine, a hundred—coming, ready or not!

Franny finally makes it back to the landing stage, where Seth is also about to embark and go home. What an adventure it has been! Franny pockets a map of L'île Mystère as a momento. The guidebook says:

What an adventure this island will prove to be! There are opportunities for rambling up hill and down dale, and splendid views across lakes and mountains. There are fields of aromatic and colourful flowers. At one point in their exploration the pets will meet a huge reptile but rest assured—it will do no harm! Bon voyage!
