Gramps considered this. "Flag of Denmark. White cross on a red field. You know, when I can't sleep, I list in my head all the national flags in the world that use red and white only—there's about twenty of them, you know. Then I go on to blue and white—I'm digressing. I don't know; what's the answer?"
"The Danish flag, the Dannebrog remains the oldest state flag in the world still in use by an independent nation. It has been recognised as in use from 1219," replied Saxbjørn.

"One reason for the Danes' happiness is the importance of hygge, the Danish way of enjoying quality time with friends and family. It can be many things, such as candle-lit dinners, wine, relaxed nights in. It's hard to explain," said Saxbjørn.
"Well, we certainly came across it this time last year in the Huskies, Hijinks and Hygge experience! We had some very cosy chats with all the pets over hot chocolate by the fire every evening in our accommodation!" replied Sassyfly.

"It says here that Aarhus is reputed to be Denmark’s happiest city and one can see why on a city break to Aarhus. First of all, it is small, attractive and easy to get around. It’s close to beaches and forests. Plus it’s packed full of cultural events and attractions such as the ARoS Art Museum and the cultural center DOKK1," said Saxbjørn.

What do you mean, unicorns don’t exist? Don’t say that to us in Denmark. Our land of everyday wonder has unicorns to spot in the most unlikely places, from street corners to throne rooms, and it’s one of the best countries in the world for unicorn hunting, even if we do say so ourselves.

Apparently it's a huge series of beautiful white chalk cliffs leading down to a beach where it says you’re almost guaranteed to find a few fossils! Then at the GeoCenter Møns Klint you can see dinosaur reconstructions, watch 3D films and visit an excavation cave to try your hand at being a real life palaeontologist."

"I guess all the cycling helps with the Danes' sense of wellbeing. Copenhagen looks to be very bike-friendly," remarked Saxbjørn.
"Plus Denmark is relatively flat and isn't uphill both ways, as is the case sometimes when we go cycling at home!" responded Marshmallow.

"According to our tour guide, Choose a name, the two oldest amusement parks in the world are in Denmark! How's that for a fun fact? Denmark is home to the world's oldest amusement park, Bakken, as well as the second oldest one, Tivoli Gardens. Bakken is just a short 20 minute train ride from Copenhagen central station and Tivoli Gardens is located just on the opposite side of the street from the station in the centre of Copenhagen."

Gorge, named after a 200-metre sea-filled gorge that travels north to the sea. The village was first mentioned in 1584 but it is thought to have been in existence a lot longer. The Gjógv incline railway is the only operating railway in the Faroe Islands and it was installed to transport goods from boats.

Wood Island, is the northernmost island in the Faroe Islands. It has become a very important bird area for breeding birds, some of which are the Atlantic Puffin, Black-Legged Kittiwakes and Common Guillemots.

Sea And Rock, Faroe Islands
There are no native trees on the Faroe Islands. There is evidence that there may have been some stands of Birch and Hazel before human settlement. There are a few stands of trees that have been planted between 1800 and 1900. This location was also used in the James Bond movie, No Time To Die, and one can see why it was chosen.
