While Leah was in a hurry to move along and shake some more paws, Koo decided to stay put and sketch the scenery for this week's Art Challenge...

What is it about cornfields that inspired so many famous painters to put brush to canvas? An easy answer is that the growing of corn was so much part of the lives of the ordinary people in England, Europe and America that the countryside was covered in corn so the scenes were hard to avoid for the en plein air artists.

Leah finally makes it back to the landing stage, where Lil Al is also about to embark and go home. What an adventure it has been! Leah pockets a map of Exina as a momento. The guidebook says:
