What a transformation there is to even the most well known locations when lit up in neon lights after nightfall, whether it be a cathedral, hotel, monument or cityscape! Get those scarves and gloves on, though, and stick close to each other as you go from one stop to the next!

There are certain super touristy things to see, but pets seem to forget the artist quarter, where creativity shines, no matter what time of the day or night.

@ Big City Square
~pickles~ and Astrid agreed that the variety of environments on their expedition was the best ever! ~pickles~ and Astrid exchanged opinions on which their favourite attraction had been so far!

The hustle and bustle is famous around the world, everypet should make this a bucket list visit. The neon lights, and the shows on stage, and street performers make this a time you'll never forget.

While ~pickles~ paused to drink in the view, Ari started scrabbling in her rucksack for her portable, foldable camping chair. “What are you doing with that, Ari?” asked ~pickles~. “We’ll need to get going in a minute or we’ll be left behind!”

Throw a paw in the air and hail a cab from the curbside, it's better than standing in the rain, getting wet! Or if not a there's always the bus stop!

“What have you got in your tote bag, Dorlinger?” asked ~pickles~. “It looks very full!” “I’ve come prepared for anything, ~pickles~,” responded Dorlinger. “There’s deck shoes, snowshoes, tennis shoes, flip-flops, flippers, walking boots, Wellington boots—you name it, I’ve got it!”

"Wasn’t it worth coming all this way, ~pickles~," said Pandette, "for this experience alone?" ~pickles~, admiring the scene they were now in, heartily agreed!

~pickles~ is enjoying Fantastic Buildings when Lily Kittentoes comes along. "Look! A special prize!" says Lily Kittentoes. ~pickles~ looks down and sees something valuable. Lily Kittentoes generously lets ~pickles~ keep it!
Brick Road (distant)
Dark gray bricks make a durable road for light traffic (no motor vehicles allowed). If we allowed vehicles we'd have to charge a toll to earn revenue for maintenance.
The 1950s?
Wet wtih a fresh rain, the moonless and starless sky casts no ambient light upon the mainstreet, giving it an old fashioned feel of days gone by in black and white.

@ Winter Carnival
Willow was distracted by the sounds of loud rustling as ~pickles~ unfolded a very large tourist map, in the course of which she succeeded in knocking Willow’s hat off. “Put that away, do!” snapped Willow. “We’re about to pose beside this amazing scene—the picture will be of your map if you don’t fold it up pronto!”

Bobbing on the open water, watching the city bloom to life as the sun sinks below the horizon is calming. Everypet wonders what the view would be from one of these skyscrapers?

“Well—we can enjoy it in two different ways then. I must say, I'm enjoying our night tour!"

Charming black street lights illuminate the street as you stroll home from your errands and visiting.

No matter where anypet travels, there's always an Exit that needs taken, and wonder if the GPS actually is going take you to the right place.

@ Raceway City
“I'm enjoying the tour very much but it's getting quite cold, isn't it, ~pickles~?” shivered Lupe.
“Here, wrap my scarf around yourself," replied ~pickles~. "And you can look forward to a lovely mug of hot chocolate when we get back to our accommodation!"

Standing in the observation deck and viewing the city below, one can almost see the race track just beyond the fog. Racing at breakneck speed in a circle might not be your idea of fun but then again, it just might be!

~pickles~ opened her rucksack to change her hat. Scaredy Cat could see ~pickles~ had a large, floppy sunhat, a balaclava, a rain hat, a woolly bobble hat, a beanie, a deerstalker hat and a swimming cap! “Did you bring a fez too?” Scaredy Cat asked ~pickles~.

Sure to stun and amaze, twin bolts streak from the sky to illuminate the scape below, while you enjoy watching from the comfort of your bedroom window. Smelling the whiff of ozone, you know it's getting closer, no need to count between thunderclaps!
