Episode 1: "Hello, everypet! Hello! How are we today? I am Gliomach, and I will be your guide to the Old Masters today.
I have several degrees in fine arts, and I assure you, if you should have any questions about the art on display, I am glad to answer for you.
I get giddy just thinking about seeing these incredible works of art! All originals, you know. I even authenticated some myself! Did I mention that I have a degree in fine arts? Oh, I did? Well, then, let the tour begin!
Remember to stay together as a group, we mustn't straggle and get lost!"

Episode 2: "So, funny story! When I was a little pet, when we went on road trips, my mum would keep me occupied by telling me stories about haystacks in the field! We would pretend they were everypets, and talk about how they were shivering in the cold together to keep warm, and once in a while there would be a big stack and we thought they looked like a cheerleader pyramid. Oh Gliomach, this is one of my favorite paintings in the gallery!"
"Well that is good to know!" replied Gliomach, "This original, by Claude Monet, is appropriately titled Haystack."
"But wait, Gliomach," exclaimed Nellie, "is there supposed to be actual hay sticking out of the canvas?"

Episode 3: "Well, that is a pretty fancy apartment," Nellie exclaimed after Gliomach announced the title. "A Corner of the Apartment by Claude Monet is certainly not water lilies, is it?"
Nellie was curious if this might be an authentic Monet, but upon looking at the signature, it looked a little more like Momet than Monet................

Episode 4: "And here we have on display The Ancient of Days painted by William Blake," Gliomach explained as he showed off the canvas. "Did you know that this was also one of Blake's favorite works that he created?"
Nellie was mesmerized by the contrast of the painting, and was amazed that there were the same colors in a box of crayons, and gave serious thought about trying to recreate it later on the wall of the hotel room.....

Episode 5: "Here we have Houses of Parliament, Sunset by Claude Monet. Monet was well known for a series of paintings of the River Thames, and we have the most rare of them all, here on display at Musee d'art de Cannelle! This is one of the very few that Monet painted in vivid color, using the colors of sunset in the fog."
Nellie is a little leery of calling it an actual Monet, but it's pretty, and Nellie enjoys looking at it just the same.

Episode 6: "And here, we have the priceless The Old Guitarist by Pablo Picasso hanging with great pride in Musee d'art de Cannelle!" Gliomach puffed with pride showing off the masterpiece.

Nellie giggled and made a comment that it really didn't look much like Reith Kitchards, the famous old guitarist Nellie used to play on air guitar.......

Episode 7: "The Monument To Chopin In The Luxembourg Gardens by Henri Rousseau is one of the crowd favorites," Gliomach tells Nellie. "You can see here for yourself the culture of the days of yore. Oh, how I long for those days! The proper manners, the wardrobes and attention to the details!"

Nellie takes a look down, mentally noting that a pair of flip flops, cargo shorts and t-shirt with the PNF logo might not be up to Gliomach's wardrobe standards.

Episode 8: "And here, we have Church, Taos Pueblo by Ansel Adams," said Gliomach as he waved his claw in the direction of the wall hanging.
Nellie asked, "Excuse me, but wasn't that a photograph? I mean, Ansel Adams was a photographer, right? Not a painter."
Gliomach turned a ghastly shade of blue and replied that painting was Ansel's favorite pastime, a very unpublished secret, and that the original, displayed here, was actually a painting.
Nellie remained skeptical, but played along, and nodded, which seemed to make Gliomach happy.

Episode 9: Café Terrace at Night is an 1888 oil painting by the Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh, which showcases the local cuisine of our town, as the cafe is still open, and you can visit there! Amazing that it has become timeless!" Gliomach said.

Nellie, however, realizes that it's been some time since lunch and starts daydreaming about that caramel apple cinnamon frappe for breakfast, and wonders what culinary masterpieces might be at the cafe?

Episode 10: "And here! Here we have one of the biggest pop culture icons of art! Grant Woods' American Gothic from 1930 has been parodied in real life and art many times over and here at Musee d'art de Cannelle we have the original!" Gliomach excitedly explained.

Because Nellie has seen so many versions on the EveryPet Comedy Channel and in Everypet Magazine, it's really hard to remember what the original looked like in the first place, so how can you argue with Gliomach's claim to fame?

Episode 11: "Rene Margritte painted "This Is Not a Pipe" in 1948, and minds were blown! Why, how can you say it's not a pipe, when it clearly is a pipe?"
Nellie grabbed a trusty smartz phone, using Petoogle, and looked up WHY it would be titled that. After some interesting reading, Nellie, clearly even more confused, sauntered on after Gliomach to the next display.

Episode 12: "And here we have The Town by Paul Klee. You can enjoy the lighthearted colors and shapes and really, how does it make you feel? Restful? Energetic?" Gliomach asked.
After studying it for a few moments, Nellie yawned and thought it looked very much like the quilt made by Grammie Everypet, and that perhaps a nap right here wouldn't be such a bad idea...........

Episode 13: "Raphael's Cherubs! I got that as a birthday card last year," exclaimed Nellie!
Gliomach smothered a deep sigh, trying not to be frustrated with the lack of art knowledge by this everypet, and counting down the minutes to the next break.
Nellie seemed pretty excited though, to see that popular art in the original, wait, maybe not the original? Nellie sees a little tell all stuck to the canvas. It appears to be a price tag from Ikeeyah?

Episode 14: "And here we have the watercolor To Such Belongs the Kingdom of God, created by Randy Klassen, founding pastor of University Covenant Church. It has touched thousands in Europe, America and China, and is now on display exclusively here at Musee d'art de Cannelle." Gliomach glowed with pride while explaining that the artist wanted to convey that the Kingdom of God is to have a childlike faith.

Nellie took in the watercolor, musing that it would take a childlike faith to believe that this was an original, but enjoyed the painting anyhow.

Episode 15: "Huh," said Nellie. "This is art? I mean, I just don't know. I guess to each their own but Rooms by the Sea, by Edward Hopper will not be a favorite of mine."
Gliomach's eyes bugged out even farther (as you know lobster's eyes tend to be a bit buggy anyhow) and he choked on his words, sputtering to get them out, "That is............ that is....... why, you uncultured............" sputtering even more, because the brain fog cleared and Gliomach remembered Cannelle's first rule; the customer (no matter how wrong) is always right.
"Yes, well, uh, let us move forward then, you have seen enough" Gliomach replied.

Episode 16: Gliomach clatters over to the next painting, "That is Self Portrait Facing Death (June 30, 1972) by Pablo Picasso." Gliomach continues on, explaining that this was done in the later years by Picasso, who created whatever he wanted, however he wanted.

Nellie thought there might have been something similar hanging on the fridge, drawn by the neighbor's toddler, but dared not critique it in front of Gliomach, since he was a little snippy the last time.

Episode 17: "Well," said Gliomach, "this is Whistler's Mother, a painting by James McNeil Whistler. I have always wondered if, with a name like Whistler, he could carry a tune?" *giggle*.

Nellie's eyes rolled, and just took in the canvas. Nellie thought her bonnet had longer ties? But maybe not...

Episode 18: "The Birth of Venus by Botticelli is a gallery favorite," Gliomach exclaimed excitedly, gliding over to the sizable painting.
Nellie stands back to take in all the different elements of this one. Amazed at the sheer size, Nellie notices that it's two panels, sewn together, but you can hardly notice the seam. Closing his eyes, Gliomach mentions that if you close your eyes, you can almost hear the ocean...............

Episode 19: "Does it speak to you?" asked Gliomach.

The painting on the wall, Maurice Denis', The Two Sisters, 1891, did actually speak to Nellie! This everypet recalls great memories with the siblings and sharing silly secrets, and actually enjoyed this painting, forgery or authentic original!

Episode 20: "Pablo Picasso's Seated Woman with Hood, was painted in 1902 at Staatsgalerie. Stuttgart, Germany is where this artistic gem is normally showcased," explained Gliomach, "but it's on special loan to Musee d'art de Cannelle. Cannelle is a special friend of the curator there and they were gracious enough to loan it for our grand opening!"

Episode 21: Gliomach waves his claw dramatically toward the next work of art. "Here we have St. Peter Enthroned by Italian painter Tommaso di Giovanni di Simone Guidi, who came to be nicknamed Masaccio. Although he was one of the most significant painters of the early 15th century, very little is known about his training, and the influences that shaped his unique style remain a mystery to this day."

As Gliomach drones on, Nellie wonders if there might be an even bigger mystery here?

Episode 22: "And here we have the painting for the adventurer, The Wanderer Above The Sea Of Fog by Caspar David Friedrich", said Gliomach "Authenticated as the original, Musee d'art de Cannelle is extremely pleased to add it to this prestigious collection".

Nellie has been enjoying the painting as well, then notices a glitch on the painting. Someone used some cellophane tape to patch up a small tear. Maybe Nellie can get a job as an art appraiser? And giggles a little at the thought.

Episode 23: "Toulouse Lautrec's Woman Lithographic Poster is the next painting on our tour, and we're so very blessed to have procured the original, so authentic, yes it is!" Gliomach gushed.
Nellie wasn't so sure, since there appeared to be some faint numbers under that yellow hair, making Nellie think of the childhood paint by numbers everypet would do during a rainy day..................

Episode 24: "Well, here it is! Please be careful when gazing on the beauty, you wouldn't want to trip our extensive alarm system! This is obviously the original of Leonardo Da Vinci's 'Mona Lisa', and we must be careful to preserve the painting at all costs."
"Cannelle considered hiring a super ninja to keep it safe, but decided on electronic security hidden in sly places." Gliomach played with the remote in his clumsy claws, accidentally tripping the siren and flashing lights. While everypet on the tour scrambled to get out of the way of security guards, Nellie noted that Mona Lisa's smile looked a little more like a smirk, and did she really just wink? How is that possible?

Episode 25: After viewing all of the inspiring works in this section of Musee d’Art de Cannelle, Nellie is feeling a little sad to have to return to a gourd house that looks exactly the same as every other gourd house in PnF Land, which is not terribly exciting...because if you've seen one gourd house, you've seen them all!

But suddenly Nellie stumbles upon a stately mansion, which looks very similar to one in a Wyeth masterpiece...
"A present for me?" asks Nellie, hardly daring to hope!
