Sookey was becoming increasingly irritated with the constant clicking and beeping of Beaky Blinder's camera disturbing the peace and quiet, so Sookey moved purposefully on without him!

Emerging from the mysterious, dense pine forest one comes across this fast-flowing stony creek, a glorious sight whatever the weather.

Sookey and Bruno pool their small change, hoping to buy some small souvenirs to remind them of this place!

The poppy can have many symbolic meanings in different cultures, for example, restful sleep and recovery. For others, it is a cheery harbinger of summer because of its size and intense colors. On this island there is a huge swathe of red poppies, providing a feast for the eyes and senses.

Sookey is enjoying the view when Sam comes along. "Looks like you dropped something,", says Sam. Sookey looks down and sees something valuable. Well Sookey WAS here first ...

At the end of the day, take time to rest beside this deep lake in the balm of the evening sunset flooding the scene with a rosy glow, to feel its calming influence wash over you and make you forget your cares and worries.

Sookey gazed around in awe, while Slushie mumbled and grumbled about Sookey's shortcut being no shortcut at all, if the blisters on her paws were anything to go by!

@ Island: L'île Mystère
Sookey finally makes it back to the landing stage, where Pudding is also about to embark and go home. What an adventure it has been! Sookey pockets a map of L'île Mystère as a momento. The guidebook says:

What an adventure this island will prove to be! There are opportunities for rambling up hill and down dale, and splendid views across lakes and mountains. There are fields of aromatic and colourful flowers. At one point in their exploration the pets will meet a huge reptile but rest assured—it will do no harm! Bon voyage!
