Edward is questing! Episode 1: "Hello, everypet! Hello! How are we today? I am Gliomach, and I will be your guide to the Old Masters today.
I have several degrees in fine arts, and I assure you, if you should have any questions about the art on display, I am glad to answer for you.
I get giddy just thinking about seeing these incredible works of art! All originals, you know. I even authenticated some myself! Did I mention that I have a degree in fine arts? Oh, I did? Well, then, let the tour begin!
Remember to stay together as a group, we mustn't straggle and get lost!"
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Astra.
You shook paws with Astra the Stardust Unicorn. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 2: "So, funny story! When I was a little pet, when we went on road trips, my mum would keep me occupied by telling me stories about haystacks in the field! We would pretend they were everypets, and talk about how they were shivering in the cold together to keep warm, and once in a while there would be a big stack and we thought they looked like a cheerleader pyramid. Oh Gliomach, this is one of my favorite paintings in the gallery!"
"Well that is good to know!" replied Gliomach, "This original, by Claude Monet, is appropriately titled Haystack."
"But wait, Gliomach," exclaimed Edward, "is there supposed to be actual hay sticking out of the canvas?"
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Mulrey.
You shook paws with Mulrey the Brown Rustic Rabbit. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 3: "Well," said Gliomach, "this is Whistler's Mother, a painting by James McNeil Whistler. I have always wondered if, with a name like Whistler, he could carry a tune?" *giggle*.
Edward's eyes rolled, and just took in the canvas. Edward thought her bonnet had longer ties? But maybe not...
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Sana.
You shook paws with Sana the Strawberry Milky Moo Cow. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 4: "Does it speak to you?" asked Gliomach.
The painting on the wall, Maurice Denis', The Two Sisters, 1891, did actually speak to Edward! This everypet recalls great memories with the siblings and sharing silly secrets, and actually enjoyed this painting, forgery or authentic original!
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Snowball.
You shook paws with Snowball the Wild White Tiger Cub. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 5: "Here we have Houses of Parliament, Sunset by Claude Monet. Monet was well known for a series of paintings of the River Thames, and we have the most rare of them all, here on display at Musee d'art de Cannelle! This is one of the very few that Monet painted in vivid color, using the colors of sunset in the fog."
Edward is a little leery of calling it an actual Monet, but it's pretty, and Edward enjoys looking at it just the same.
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Dai.
You shook paws with Dai the Midnight Happy Dragon. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 6: "The Scream by Edvard Munch is hanging on my bedroom wall," exclaimed Edward! "It's been my favorite poster for years!"
"Poster? Poster? Why this is an original, good pet!" Gliomach cried out!
"It has been one of the crowning jewels of the gallery and you dare to call it a poster. Oh my, what is the world coming to?" Gliomach puts his claws over his eyes and cries a little tear at the thought of everypet not appreciating true art.
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Chipilona.
You shook paws with Chipilona the Grey Playful Kitten. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 7: "Rene Margritte painted "This Is Not a Pipe" in 1948, and minds were blown! Why, how can you say it's not a pipe, when it clearly is a pipe?"
Edward grabbed a trusty smartz phone, using Petoogle, and looked up WHY it would be titled that. After some interesting reading, Edward, clearly even more confused, sauntered on after Gliomach to the next display.
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Unitee.
You shook paws with Unitee the Blue Beautiful Unicorn. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 8: "Well, that is a pretty fancy apartment," Edward exclaimed after Gliomach announced the title. "A Corner of the Apartment by Claude Monet is certainly not water lilies, is it?" Edward was curious if this might be an authentic Monet, but upon looking at the signature, it looked a little more like Momet than Monet................
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Zara.
You shook paws with Zara the Wild White Tiger Cub. You both received one silver mole!
Edward, however, realizes that it's been some time since lunch and starts daydreaming about that caramel apple cinnamon frappe for breakfast, and wonders what culinary masterpieces might be at the cafe?
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Poirot.
You shook paws with Poirot the Tapir. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 10: "Eyes that captivated the world," Gliomach tells Edward. "The original title is National Geographic's Afghan Girl and it took years to locate the girl with magical eyes after it was taken."
Edward didn't want to be rude, but the eyes in the gallery piece had a creepy way of following Edward when moving around to see the picture better. It's time to move on to the next master!
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Rarity.
You shook paws with Rarity the Stardust Unicorn. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 11: Slowly walking up to the next masterpiece, Edward is moved by the portrayal of love between the mother and child depicted by Edvard Munch. The sick child is such an emotional piece, Gliomach is silent, allowing everypet to take in the painting.
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet piper.
You shook paws with piper the Grey Playful Kitten. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 12: "And here we have on display The Ancient of Days painted by William Blake," Gliomach explained as he showed off the canvas. "Did you know that this was also one of Blake's favorite works that he created?"
Edward was mesmerized by the contrast of the painting, and was amazed that there were the same colors in a box of crayons, and gave serious thought about trying to recreate it later on the wall of the hotel room.....
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Crazy Charlie Cupig.
You shook paws with Crazy Charlie Cupig the Winged pig. You both received one silver mole!
Crazy Charlie Cupig and you found 25 silver moles!
Edward is questing! Episode 13: "Raphael's Cherubs! I got that as a birthday card last year," exclaimed Edward!
Gliomach smothered a deep sigh, trying not to be frustrated with the lack of art knowledge by this everypet, and counting down the minutes to the next break.
Edward seemed pretty excited though, to see that popular art in the original, wait, maybe not the original? Edward sees a little tell all stuck to the canvas. It appears to be a price tag from Ikeeyah?
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet John Deere Tractor.
You shook paws with John Deere Tractor the Midnight Happy Dragon. You both received one silver mole!
John Deere Tractor gave you 1 "Raphael's Cherubs!"

Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Solo.
You shook paws with Solo the Bashful Badger. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 15: "And here we have the self portrait of Vincent Van Gogh that he titled Man with a bandaged ear, as he had mutilated his own ear and it was healing. Artists seem to suffer for their work, and I, too, must suffer the strange comments made by some of the everypets who come to Musee d'art de Cannelle," Gliomach indicated to the painting on the wall.
"Strange thing, Gliomach, I don't think that Pand Aids were available in the days of Van Gogh," said Edward.
"Well, now, I think that just might be how the paint is flaking off, not a Pand Aid," replied Gliomach, "And if you're done, let's move to the next artist's display."
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Puff.
You shook paws with Puff the Midnight Happy Dragon. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 16: Gliomach waves his claw dramatically toward the next work of art. "Here we have St. Peter Enthroned by Italian painter Tommaso di Giovanni di Simone Guidi, who came to be nicknamed Masaccio. Although he was one of the most significant painters of the early 15th century, very little is known about his training, and the influences that shaped his unique style remain a mystery to this day."
As Gliomach drones on, Edward wonders if there might be an even bigger mystery here?
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Rockstar.
You shook paws with Rockstar the Brown Owl. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 17: "To the right, Edward, you can see the stunning Sunrise By the Ocean by Vladimir Kush."
Gliomach clicked his claws and scuttled closer, and encouraged Edward to come closer, too. Looking at the painting, Edward thinks it's been awhile since breakfast. Eggs over easy sounds pretty good right now.
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Shujaa.
You shook paws with Shujaa the Bashful Badger. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 18: "The Birth of Venus by Botticelli is a gallery favorite," Gliomach exclaimed excitedly, gliding over to the sizable painting.
Edward stands back to take in all the different elements of this one. Amazed at the sheer size, Edward notices that it's two panels, sewn together, but you can hardly notice the seam. Closing his eyes, Gliomach mentions that if you close your eyes, you can almost hear the ocean...............
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Scaredy Cat.
You shook paws with Scaredy Cat the Scared Black Cat. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 19: "Walk this way, you must see this one! Mondrian's Composition II in Red, Blue and Yellow is always a crowd favorite! How does it make you feel? What do you think about it? Can you imagine the talent it took to create this masterpiece?"
Gliomach is very passionate about this piece. Edward wonders secretly how to paint it since it would be a brilliant new wall cover in the living room. And do you think anyone would pay for that re-creation?
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Ruby Tuesday.
You shook paws with Ruby Tuesday the Stardust Unicorn. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 20: "Huh," said Edward. "This is art? I mean, I just don't know. I guess to each their own but Rooms by the Sea, by Edward Hopper will not be a favorite of mine."
Gliomach's eyes bugged out even farther (as you know lobster's eyes tend to be a bit buggy anyhow) and he choked on his words, sputtering to get them out, "That is............ that is....... why, you uncultured............" sputtering even more, because the brain fog cleared and Gliomach remembered Cannelle's first rule; the customer (no matter how wrong) is always right.
"Yes, well, uh, let us move forward then, you have seen enough" Gliomach replied.
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Nano.
You shook paws with Nano the Grey Playful Kitten. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 21: Gliomach was full of immense knowledge about Water Lilies by Claude Monet, and Edward learned a lot. Surprisingly to Edward, this might actually be an original, authentic piece! Because Monet painted 250 different scenes featuring his water lilies in oils, this might be THE ONE! Edward peers closely at the canvas, and doesn't see anything obvious that says it might be a forgery! Monet's Lilies for the win!
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Morenth.
You shook paws with Morenth the Midnight Happy Dragon. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 22: "And here! Here we have one of the biggest pop culture icons of art! Grant Woods' American Gothic from 1930 has been parodied in real life and art many times over and here at Musee d'art de Cannelle we have the original!" Gliomach excitedly explained.
Because Edward has seen so many versions on the EveryPet Comedy Channel and in Everypet Magazine, it's really hard to remember what the original looked like in the first place, so how can you argue with Gliomach's claim to fame?
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet grey.
You shook paws with grey the Ragdoll Kitten. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 23: "Toulouse Lautrec's Woman Lithographic Poster is the next painting on our tour, and we're so very blessed to have procured the original, so authentic, yes it is!" Gliomach gushed.
Edward wasn't so sure, since there appeared to be some faint numbers under that yellow hair, making Edward think of the childhood paint by numbers everypet would do during a rainy day..................
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Lulu.
You shook paws with Lulu the Strawberry Milky Moo Cow. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 24: "Well, here it is! Please be careful when gazing on the beauty, you wouldn't want to trip our extensive alarm system! This is obviously the original of Leonardo Da Vinci's 'Mona Lisa', and we must be careful to preserve the painting at all costs."
"Cannelle considered hiring a super ninja to keep it safe, but decided on electronic security hidden in sly places." Gliomach played with the remote in his clumsy claws, accidentally tripping the siren and flashing lights. While everypet on the tour scrambled to get out of the way of security guards, Edward noted that Mona Lisa's smile looked a little more like a smirk, and did she really just wink? How is that possible?
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet Ringo.
You shook paws with Ringo the Black Feisty Fox. You both received one silver mole!
Edward is questing! Episode 25: After viewing all of the inspiring works in this section of Musee d’Art de Cannelle, Edward is feeling a little sad to have to return to a gourd house that looks exactly the same as every other gourd house in PnF Land, which is not terribly exciting...because if you've seen one gourd house, you've seen them all!
But suddenly Edward stumbles upon a stately mansion, which looks very similar to one in a Wyeth masterpiece...
"A present for me?" asks Edward, hardly daring to hope!
Whilst looking round the Art Gallery, you meet lady ciganko.
