There once was a vibrant flower, who relished in its beauty. The flower thought all the other flowers were jealous, and tried to force the flower to drain itself so it didn't outshine them. The other flowers were trying to warn the vibrant flower - it's dangerous to be alluring.

Sure enough, one day a traveller picked the flower and brought it home. The petals and leaves were torn apart and dried, and one evening many days later, used to make a tea the traveller drank.

The other flowers lamented their lost friend. They closed their petals when others came near, afraid they, too, would be taken.

It wasn't long before the flower was again picked and taken far away. The flowers mourned once again. And once again they were surprised as days later the flower returned, not only glowing, but larger than it had been before.

The flower promised it's new friends no harm would come to them as long as it was the most alluring of them all. Confused but grateful, the other flowers watched in awe as time and time again the flower was picked and carried away, only to return larger and more vibrant each time.

The flowers asked, but never received answers to how the flower could return and grow more striking each time.
