What a transformation there is to even the most well known locations when lit up in neon lights after nightfall, whether it be a cathedral, hotel, monument or cityscape! Get those scarves and gloves on, though, and stick close to each other as you go from one stop to the next!
Artists Quarter
There are certain super touristy things to see, but pets seem to forget the artist quarter, where creativity shines, no matter what time of the day or night.

@ Big City Square
“What have you got in your tote bag, Cherry?” asked Happy. “It looks very full!” “I’ve come prepared for anything, Happy,” responded Cherry. “There’s deck shoes, snowshoes, tennis shoes, flip-flops, flippers, walking boots, Wellington boots—you name it, I’ve got it!”

The hustle and bustle is famous around the world, everypet should make this a bucket list visit. The neon lights, and the shows on stage, and street performers make this a time you'll never forget.

Happy and Celeste were entranced at reaching this stopping place and eagerly posed for a picture standing on either side of the new attraction they had just seen!

Worn from years of travel, the old courtyard cobbles silently sit and watch as pets pad on by, listening through the centuries all the stories being told. Why the stories they could tell, if only someone asked.

“It's a lot darker than it was in the Labyrinth that time, isn't it, Happy?” remarked Crowley, a little nervously.
“At least we shouldn't encounter any scorpions!" replied Happy.

rex studied the sky above. “We could take this opportunity to do a little star-gazing, couldn't we, Happy?”
“Well, that's an interesting hobby, yes," replied Happy. "Look, is that the Bovinus constellation up there, rex?"

Happy is enjoying Fantastic Buildings when Lady Jane comes along. "Look! A special prize!" says Lady Jane. Happy looks down and sees something valuable. Lady Jane generously lets Happy keep it!
Brick Road (distant)
Dark gray bricks make a durable road for light traffic (no motor vehicles allowed). If we allowed vehicles we'd have to charge a toll to earn revenue for maintenance.
The 1950s?
Wet wtih a fresh rain, the moonless and starless sky casts no ambient light upon the mainstreet, giving it an old fashioned feel of days gone by in black and white.

Happy opened her rucksack to change her hat. Frosty could see Happy had a large, floppy sunhat, a balaclava, a rain hat, a woolly bobble hat, a beanie, a deerstalker hat and a swimming cap! “Did you bring a fez too?” Frosty asked Happy.

“Hey, Happy, how are you doing? Long time no see! Are you a night owl?"
Happy shook paws with Franz. “Well—a lot of these attractions are so lit up you wouldn't think it was night-time!" she said.

Bobbing on the open water, watching the city bloom to life as the sun sinks below the horizon is calming. Everypet wonders what the view would be from one of these skyscrapers?

Happy and Chipilona agreed that the variety of environments on their expedition was the best ever! Happy and Chipilona exchanged opinions on which their favourite attraction had been so far!

“We could go on a hunt for glow-worms, perhaps!” said Happy to THUMPER. "I've never seen one."
“Hmm, I can see us getting lost in the woods and missing breakfast. I'm famished already!" responded THUMPER.

Happy gazed upwards. "I just saw some bats flying over there, Choose a name! It's not often you see those!"

Standing in the observation deck and viewing the city below, one can almost see the race track just beyond the fog. Racing at breakneck speed in a circle might not be your idea of fun but then again, it just might be!

Roxas was distracted by the sounds of loud rustling as Happy unfolded a very large tourist map, in the course of which she succeeded in knocking Roxas’s hat off. “Put that away, do!” snapped Roxas. “We’re about to pose beside this amazing scene—the picture will be of your map if you don’t fold it up pronto!”

Bleary eyed from many hours on the road, it's time to park and find a place to grab a bite to eat and rest before another day of travel.

@ Lightning Crashes
“Ooh, it's just starting to drizzle, Happy!” said Minerva. “Can you hold my torch and map while I dig out my Pac-a-Mac?"
Happy good-naturedly took charge of Minerva's possessions while she emptied her rucksack of a pack of sandwiches, a Thermos flask, a pair of galoshes, a bag of toffees, a paperback novel, a bottle of mineral water, an address book, some postage stamps, an assortment of different coloured biros, a bottle opener, a couple of old train tickets, a handful of golden and silver moles, a hotel key, some shopping receipts and a selection of rather battered sachets of salt, sugar and tomato ketchup before locating the Pac-a-Mac right at the bottom. This she donned and then Happy helped her put everything back in her rucksack.

Sure to stun and amaze, twin bolts streak from the sky to illuminate the scape below, while you enjoy watching from the comfort of your bedroom window. Smelling the whiff of ozone, you know it's getting closer, no need to count between thunderclaps!

“I could stay here forever, Happy,” said PluttiPott. “This is an amazing place!” “Well, you never know what lies ahead, PluttiPott. I wouldn't be surprised if the next stop is even better!” said Happy.

"You know, the settings on your camera have to be different for a night scene," remarked Happy.

Happy is considering the merits of another Fantastic Building when purple comes along. "Wow! That completes the set!" says purple. Happy is amazed to have collected all three items!

Charming black street lights decorate the street as you stroll home from your errands and visiting.

Happy has seen enough buildings to plan her own town, and is tired out. Princess agrees it is time to go home and discuss which building they would most like to live in!
