While Pearl was busy snapping photos, Joyful wandered off to find a suitable bush, as there was a decided lack of amenities in the immediate area!

Arriving at such a wonderful location spurred Pearl on to keep on trekking. However Sebastian sat down, refusing to budge, complaining of blisters on his paws...

While Pearl was whistling through her teeth as they ambled through another breathtaking scene, Edwina was secretly wishing she had packed ear plugs, or gaffer tape for Pearl's mug!

Pearl and moo moo pool their small change, hoping to buy some small souvenirs to remind them of this place!

The poppy can have many symbolic meanings in different cultures, for example, restful sleep and recovery. For others, it is a cheery harbinger of summer because of its size and intense colors. On this island there is a huge swathe of red poppies, providing a feast for the eyes and senses.

Pearl is enjoying the view when Mochi comes along. "Looks like you dropped something,", says Mochi. Pearl looks down and sees something valuable. Well Pearl WAS here first ...

At the end of the day, take time to rest beside this deep lake in the balm of the evening sunset flooding the scene with a rosy glow, to feel its calming influence wash over you and make you forget your cares and worries.

Pearl gazed around in awe, while Kaleaha mumbled and grumbled about Pearl's shortcut being no shortcut at all, if the blisters on her paws were anything to go by!

Pearl had to travel on alone, as Milk declared she had found her nirvana, and had no intention of moving on!

What better place could there be for happy young pets than a game of hide and seek in this never-ending vista of yellow? Everypet is soon covered with pollen from nose, beak, snout or muzzle to tail! Just don't sneeze and give your whereabouts away! ... ninety-nine, a hundred—coming, ready or not!

@ Island: L'île Mystère
Pearl finally makes it back to the landing stage, where WhoButtons is also about to embark and go home. What an adventure it has been! Pearl pockets a map of L'île Mystère as a momento. The guidebook says:

What an adventure this island will prove to be! There are opportunities for rambling up hill and down dale, and splendid views across lakes and mountains. There are fields of aromatic and colourful flowers. At one point in their exploration the pets will meet a huge reptile but rest assured—it will do no harm! Bon voyage!
