Have you seen the news? We have had blizzards and record breaking cold temps here in Canada. Many parts of the USA are cooler than normal as well. Locally, it has been pretty awful and wonderful at the same time. Our power station crashed and we have been trying to save energy. Most schools in our area (the whole province actually) have been closed all week due to the high risk of power outages and stormy weather. Although the temperatures outside are frightful, the kiddies got a few extra days off school to extend their Christmas vacation and they are happy about that. With rolling black outs in the dead of winter, we have been cuddling more than usual and using candles and lanterns to light the house. I think it has been nice at times, but the cold can really get to you.I just wish it was a little warmer.... a little... please!!!
