lisa scaredy cat and kaida are at the local waterfront park with some friends as they celebrate the ringing in of the new year. the teal bug is horrified (as is typical for her) at the sight of the scaly monster attempting to eat his sparkler. he thinks everything is edible - well - he's going to quickly learn that sparklers aren't for eating but for carefully twirling on its stick and watching it give off little sparks. kaida is showing scaredy cat how to properly handle a sparkler so that he doesn't get hurt. scaredy cat doesn't think he can handle all of this. the loud booms and screeches of the fireworks being shot off into the night sky - well - they are really scaring him. he wants to go home and hide until 2016 arrives.
this week - we're all getting ready to ring in 2016!! hooray!! it's because of you and your support and dedication to our dreams of providing you with a place of fun and friendship that we have come as far as we have and we look forward to continuing the same and more in the new year!! so show us this week how you're going to celebrate 2016. will it be with a big bang celebration? or maybe your pet is more likely to have a quiet get together with just their closest friends. will you be watching the big ball drop from times square? or will your pet just wait til midnight to arrive and then go to bed? however you and your pet do it, be safe and we look forward to another year of pets 'n' friends with all of you.
