I have chosen Kiribati, as the country of my heart. Kiribati is located on the Equator, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, roughly halfway between Hawaii and North Queensland.

Kiribati is one of the world's smallest countries (110,000 population), comprising 33 islands - 32 hook shaped coral atolls and 1 volcanic island.

The highest point on the atolls is 1 metre above sea level, and for much of the length of the islands, you can stand in the middle of the road and see the ocean on either side of you.

There is limited rainfall, and it is very difficult to grow anything. The average annual income in Kiribati is $2, yet the I-Kiribati people are some of the happiest, kindest and most generous people on earth!
