Las Vegas is very confusing. Frobie and Wasky stopped at a fast food joint to grab a bite and they went over to what they thought was a drink machine to make their choices. A little miffed that in Vegas it appeared that drinks cost extra, they nevertheless proceeded to deposit their coins and pull the lever so they could see their choices. Suddenly the machine went crazy, all flashing lights and sirens whooping. Wasky figured they had broken the thing, and he grabbed his meal and ran for the exit. Frobie, the more mature of the two, calmly waited for the noised to stop and the machine to helpfully dispense a small strip of paper which he dutifully took to the cashier, expecting to be told the damages he would be responsible for. Instead, he was handed a balloon, a replacement meal for the one he had dropped in his distress, and a giftcard for free meals for a year which was what he had won from the fruit machine he had spun by mistake. :-)
