I’m not blue, but you may be if you touch me. Tiny, I am so tiny, only about 2 to 1.8 inches (3-4.5 cm). I am a vibrant blue with black spots so I am not easy to miss. Yes, I am poisonous to the touch and that is bad news, but there is good news. If you want to have me in your life, it is simple, provide me a home, and feed me crickets and fruit flies.

The poison comes from the insects I eat out in the wild and those insects have been nibbling on poisonous plants, so if you don’t feed me those types of insects I will be safe to have as a friend. This might be the start of a never-blue friendship.

And, well you know how these stories go. He was tricked by the fine print. Now the four brothers live together, fighting for control of their single body. And, the jealous brother? He still lives in his brothers shadows, stuck in the middle. There’s a moral to this story, I think.

This white lovely kitty is puuuurfectly precious. She spends much of her day washing and cleaning herself so that she is ready for anyone who may come and visit. When she is not grooming, she is sleeping, as beauty rest is quite important for a cat of her importance. But she cannot sleep unless she is on the fluffiest of pillows with the softest of blankets. She refuses to be far from a mirror to ensure she is always presentable for guests. Toys are beneath her. She must not play for fear of ruining her fur she worked so hard to make pretty and perfect. Playing would also show lack of control and this cat works very hard to be in control at all times. She dreams of batting a mouse, but she dares not because she has a reputation to uphold. Due to her actions and desires, many refer to her as “prissy” but she is easily forgiven because of her cuteness!

I know who this is. This is a bear all dressed up in a bunny costume. It seems that this bear really wanted to join in the fun of hiding eggs for Easter. I think that any pet who would like to should be able to participate in that particular fun. After all, the more hidden eggs, the more fun and eggs for the seekers.

Look how cute the bear is, a fluffy bunny costume with room for the bear’s ears to stick out so they can hear what is going on, and it even comes with a basket.

If you catch a flash of long ears on Easter, you will not be sure if it is this little bear or the Easter bunny. What fun!

With wings that hold the colours of the aurora and a body of thick, soft, sparkling fur—this little bear is unique. Of all the bears born in the winter, one will not grow as big as the other young bears. This bear will emerge from the cave as a fairy. Why does this happen? No one is sure, but the winter fairy bear brings joy to all the creatures not tucked up sleeping in their winter homes and sweet dreams to those that are.

If you are walking in the woods and see this little bear flying around the trees, stay very still; you may hear it sing a song, and its voice will remind you of the soft tinkling of ice, but the words will warm your heart.

My great times 8 grandfather was a hard-working cat, he always said “You young whippersnappers have no idea how much work we did, chasing mousies all night, sleeping all day, keeping camp free of critters”. Did he think that just sheds off naturally? No, no sir, it does not! I have a secret shake that produces the most square inch coverage of my family, don’chaknow? If I didn’t keep a close eye on things here, the bed would never be made properly! And the food! I must sample all hooman foods! What if something isn’t tasty? And if I didn’t sing the song of my people at 3am, everyone would get a good night’s sleep. My work is never done!

This is no ordinary pup. I am a Canadian wolf pup but in some places I am also called a grey wolf or timber wolf. No matter which name you prefer, I would love to tell you all about my family. The wolf pack I belong to consists of my mom and dad, four adult brothers and sisters and five littermates. Wolves are very social animals and the bonds of family are very strong within our pack. We live in remote areas of the wilderness throughout the continent of North America and try to avoid the neighboring packs as they are not very friendly and do not like visitors. I think they are relatives of The Big Bad Wolf of storybook lore. We love visitors though and you are welcome to stop by any time. We will make you an honorary pack member and my mom and dad can even teach you how to howl. Howling has many uses and it's a really important skill. We use it to gather the pack before a hunt, to warn or locate one another, and to communicate long distances throughout our vast territory. I am still learning; the only sounds I am able to make are little dog-like yelps and it makes me giggle every time those funny noises come out. I know I will be able to howl someday, but until then I will just keep practicing. Arrrooooooo!
