Perhaps you have a carrot tucked away somewhere else? No? Oh. Hmm. Well, it’s still nice to meet you. What’s that? You have lettuce! Why that is just as good as a carrot! So kind, so kind of you to share with me! Mmmm, Squeak! Squeak! Oh, yes, that means thank you!

This love bug is so cute you will want to give it a little bop on the nose. Ah! Love bugs don’t have a nose. Well then, you can gently pet its little head.

Bringing you a message of love---so much better than being shot with a love arrow. This little love bug has hearts on its body and not stars but hearts in its eyes and little hearts on the end of its antennae. An irresistibly cute little chap.

Squishes, squeezes, snuggles...Whatever you call it, there’s nothing like putting your arms around someone and giving them a great, big, warm and toasty hug. It makes both of you feel wonderful, loved, and cared for. And hugs can say so many things, from “I’ll miss you” to “I’m here for you” to “Thank you for being my dear friend”. Pretty amazing that one little gesture can say so much. So tell me, who’s your favourite person to hug?

Well, since coming to PnF, the resident magician is a rabbit so of course, having been “in the business” makes for a very understanding boss, happy magic bunnies, and great tricks!

Spotted Seals and Harbour Seels are closely related and even share some habitats but have different biology and habits. The Spotted Seal, also known as Larga, is found on the ice and in the waters of the North Pacific Ocean and adjacent seas.

Hey, I see you there. You are going to get cold. I was diving down and looking for some tasty shrimp. Are you doing some ice fishing? I see you have a bucket; I don’t need one of those, I eat whatever I catch right away.

This is nice, sitting on this ice floe, you with your campfire roasting the fish you caught, and me with my raw cod, which by the way, is delicious.

Have you ever been diving? I can dive 300 m (980 ft). It is a whole other world down there and so peaceful. Maybe you would like to join me if you get one of those things that allow you to breathe underwater, we can explore my favourite areas under the sea.

I’m not blue, but you may be if you touch me. Tiny, I am so tiny, only about 2 to 1.8 inches (3-4.5 cm). I am a vibrant blue with black spots so I am not easy to miss. Yes, I am poisonous to the touch and that is bad news, but there is good news. If you want to have me in your life, it is simple, provide me a home, and feed me crickets and fruit flies.

The poison comes from the insects I eat out in the wild and those insects have been nibbling on poisonous plants, so if you don’t feed me those types of insects I will be safe to have as a friend. This might be the start of a never-blue friendship.

I am a unique little reptile. My skin can change colors for many reasons; my emotions, the temperature, and the amount of light available, but it is a common misconception that it changes color based on my surroundings. The brighter my color, the more attractive I am (sorry, I'm cute and I know it... and you know it too!). My tail is great for wrapping around the branches of trees and bushes to steady myself as I wander throughout the rainforests and savannas I live in, but if you don't mind, I can also wrap it around your heart and be your forever friend.

Maaah! Maaah! Frolicking in the endless green sea? That would be me! Able to jump, er, swim, over coral gates and fern fronds, lulling the unsuspecting fishes into a deep sleep! Although, there aren’t any bags of wool from me, more like a pawful of slime.

This is the story of the four brothers. There was a kind and brave brother, a jealous brother, and the younger, silly twin brothers who were, in fact, perfectly nice, if not a little goofy. The story goes that the jealous brother wanted to be admired like his older, more courageous brother or adored like his younger twin brothers. He hated being in the middle, over-looked or always in trouble. The only way he thought he could get what he wanted, which was for people to notice him, was to seek out the favor of an old witch. And, well you know how these stories go. He was tricked by the fine print. Now the four brothers live together, fighting for control of their single body. And, the jealous brother? He still lives in his brothers shadows, stuck in the middle. There’s a moral to this story, I think.

This white lovely kitty is puuuurfectly precious. She spends much of her day washing and cleaning herself so that she is ready for anyone who may come and visit. When she is not grooming, she is sleeping, as beauty rest is quite important for a cat of her importance. But she cannot sleep unless she is on the fluffiest of pillows with the softest of blankets. She refuses to be far from a mirror to ensure she is always presentable for guests. Toys are beneath her. She must not play for fear of ruining her fur she worked so hard to make pretty and perfect. Playing would also show lack of control and this cat works very hard to be in control at all times. She dreams of batting a mouse, but she dares not because she has a reputation to uphold. Due to her actions and desires, many refer to her as “prissy” but she is easily forgiven because of her cuteness!

I know who this is. This is a bear all dressed up in a bunny costume. It seems that this bear really wanted to join in the fun of hiding eggs for Easter. I think that any pet who would like to should be able to participate in that particular fun. After all, the more hidden eggs, the more fun and eggs for the seekers.

Look how cute the bear is, a fluffy bunny costume with room for the bear’s ears to stick out so they can hear what is going on, and it even comes with a basket.

If you catch a flash of long ears on Easter, you will not be sure if it is this little bear or the Easter bunny. What fun!

With wings that hold the colours of the aurora and a body of thick, soft, sparkling fur—this little bear is unique. Of all the bears born in the winter, one will not grow as big as the other young bears. This bear will emerge from the cave as a fairy. Why does this happen? No one is sure, but the winter fairy bear brings joy to all the creatures not tucked up sleeping in their winter homes and sweet dreams to those that are.

If you are walking in the woods and see this little bear flying around the trees, stay very still; you may hear it sing a song, and its voice will remind you of the soft tinkling of ice, but the words will warm your heart.

My great times 8 grandfather was a hard-working cat, he always said “You young whippersnappers have no idea how much work we did, chasing mousies all night, sleeping all day, keeping camp free of critters”. Well, I work hard too! Who do you think supervises the hooman all day? Being sure that the food dish is always full? Making sure there is a fine layer of cat hair on all surfaces? Did he think that just sheds off naturally? No, no sir, it does not! I have a secret shake that produces the most square inch coverage of my family, don’chaknow? If I didn’t keep a close eye on things here, the bed would never be made properly! And the food! I must sample all hooman foods! What if something isn’t tasty? And if I didn’t sing the song of my people at 3am, everyone would get a good night’s sleep. My work is never done!

When you think of a skunk, what is the first thing that comes to mind? I knew it. No, I am not stinky. I only use my amazing scent to scare away anyone who wants to see how I taste; you would do the same, right? No one would be happy about some strange creature coming up to take a nibble of them.

I love to romp around in the flower fields, rolling around in a sunny patch, as I look for fruits, berries, and nuts to fill my tummy. If you have fruits in your garden, I would love to be friends, and we can spend the sunny days playing tag and gathering nuts to have a picnic.
