There is something magical about the way trees awaken. No matter how long and harsh the winter has been, it must give way to spring. The longer days and warming of the sun coax the sleeping trees to burst forth in tender shades of green, signaling the return of life to the earth. If the tree happens to be a fruit or flowering tree, soon the green will be followed by a glorious explosion of breathtaking color as the blossoms open.

The most heavenly fragrance wafts through the air as the lilac trees burst forth in a profusion of lavender loveliness. While many different hues of purple are the most common colors for the beloved lilac tree, it also comes in shades of pink, magenta, white, and even pale yellow. The most exotic looking lilac is called Sensation Lilac and is a vivid shade of purple edged in white.

Originating in Japan hundreds of years ago, these beautiful trees are richly symbolic so it is only appropriate that they would be gifted to other countries in honor of certain events and people throughout their history. The cherry blossom motif can be found throughout all genres of art. It is a sign of life and immortality throughout the world.

Nukhet’s Waterside is a playful work of art, reminiscent of summertime family beach holidays, complete with flip-flops, sandcastles and refreshing fruit treats. The warm sun on the water creates a soft haze, which hovers just above the water in the gentle sea breeze…

It is said this is the very tree where William Troll shot an arrow at his son, who had an apple on his head. With great skill, William shot the wasp that had settled on the boy's nose. Then he told the boy off for making people think trolls were dumb enough to go around with apples on their heads. What the tree thought of all this, we do not know; but it has become the traditional place for pets to try their skill at archery ever since.
