Beauty can be found anywhere, and these fluffy little birds prize the beauty spots on their fluffy cheeks. They are so taken with them that they coo and cuddle each other and let other pets know that their beauty spots are where it’s at. Will they start a new trend? Only time will tell.

Yay, clear skies! Hang onto your hats folks! I’m coming in like a wild bunny at top speed. I heard a bag open and we all know what that means. I’ll race around your legs and hop and beg and run and spin and dance. You see, I am rather happy. And when bunnies are happy, we binky. Oh, sorry about that dust cloud I kicked up on my way in. You may want to vacuum more.

I absolutely adore snow! Not just any snow, full-blown blizzards are my favourite! The blinding snowfall, large snow banks, freezing temperatures. I love building large snow-forts and snow-tunnels! Did I mention I like snow?

I see you! Do you see me? I lurk in the waters, staring out at my world, but sometimes only my eyes are visible to you. No, those are NOT large rocks that you see in the water…that is my backside, thank you very much!

I like to be in the water or mud during the day, because it helps me stay cool in the hot African sun. I’ll come out during the dusk and night so that I can spend a few hours grazing on the grass, my food of choice.

I can weigh close to 3,000 pounds, or even over that. This makes me the third largest land mammal in the world! Because of our size, other animals are less likely to see us as food, which is definitely a good thing for us! In Africa, we are aggressive animals and are not afraid to fight even others of our species. But take us to live in PnF and we promise to be good!

Hey, speak up sonny. I can't hear as good as I used to. What you calling me? Balding? Well, you young whippersnapper you! I could show you a thing or two. Back in the day, I could see a fish swimming in the pond from way-y-y-y up high in the sky and swoop down and grab it in the blink of an eye. What, did I hear you right? Now you're calling me four-eyes? Didn't your momma tell you if you don't have anything nice to say, to keep yer mouth shut? Younguns these days just need to learn to respect their elders. If I had talked to my pa like that he would've grounded me for a week; and you know how much we birds hate that. No sirree, you would never have caught me back-talking my ma and pa! I love flying too much. Speaking of flying, a little birdie told me I could find some nicer eagles in that tree over yonder, so off I go. And I do hope you straighten up and fly right someday.

Well hello, friend! I love when we get to spend time together, away from all my litter mates. I'm a little quiet and shy, and with so many siblings it gets loud and busy! We can spend the day hopping around town, grab some coffee and enjoy a moment watching the butterflies flit on by!

When you are as old as this silly old bear is, and when you have lived in a place for a long time, you make friends with everyone. This old bear spends lots of time talking to all the pets who live in PnF land.

He loves to chat about the weather, the different flavour honey has depending on the types of flowers the bees visited, and this old bear loves to discuss the PnF games, how the participants are doing and what their dreams are, and what new games could be added. Maybe a honey-tasting event; that is one game this old bear could participate in.

Did I really hear somepet singing “there’s not a cloud in the sky”? Hmmmm. I can fix that! I’ll just breeze on in and ruffle a few Autumn leaves while I’m here! There’s really no need for those pesky tornados in your pet’s art, because I can gust up a fine leaf storm all on my own!

The weather was partly cloudy today. So I want into the garden but that pesky farmer has it fenced off. How could they? Don’t they know bunnies need lettuce and parsley? It’s a very important part of our diet. Just like hay. And don’t forget the carrots. But I shall pass on the cabbage. It gives me gas. And boy oh boy my toots are quite stinky!

Look into my eyes. Look deeply. Yes, that’s it. You feel yourself falling … you’re falling … you’re falling … can’t help yourself. Don’t fight it, it’s meant to be. There is an old yellow bear, you may have seen him walking around town, but you have surely seen him when you attend the PnF sporting events. This old bear loves sports, and even though he cannot participate as he did in his younger years, he loves to raise a paw and cheer on the participants while yelling out, “Reach for the stars.”

An elusive little chap, is our Billy Blizzard Bear
He’s nowhere to be seen, when the weather’s calm and fair;
But in the winter time, when the winds blow and the rains fall
In a flurry of exquisite snowflakes, Billy’s driving the squall.

Although he’s usually oblivious, to being watched at play
It’s generally Billy, that makes the snowflakes dance and sway;
And if you’ve ever wondered, what’s behind the blizzard’s force
Well that’s just Billy, dutifully keeping his storms on course.

I live in the land where the midnight sun shines above vast planes of ice and snow, but my heart is as warm as toasted chestnuts. Come join me as I walk through my day. Bundle up warm it can be bitterly cold. I have no problems in the cold weather and actually prefer it. My body is encased in a thick layer of fat with dense fur. You can follow along in my footprints, so you won’t have to work so hard to take a step. My feet are large, perfect for distributing my weight evenly over ice. Make sure to bring along sunglasses or goggles, my eyes have a third eyelid that protects my eyes from the UV rays of the sun, so I don’t suffer from snow blindness. I love to swim, though I don’t suppose you will be joining me in the frigid water. I can swim for days, but I won’t take a long swim today. Are you ready? Let’s go, and I will show you the beauty of this wintery land.
