Hey, speak up sonny. I can't hear as good as I used to. What you calling me? Balding? Well, you young whippersnapper you! I could show you a thing or two. Back in the day, I could see a fish swimming in the pond from way-y-y-y up high in the sky and swoop down and grab it in the blink of an eye. What, did I hear you right? Now you're calling me four-eyes? Didn't your momma tell you if you don't have anything nice to say, to keep yer mouth shut? Younguns these days just need to learn to respect their elders. If I had talked to my pa like that he would've grounded me for a week; and you know how much we birds hate that. No sirree, you would never have caught me back-talking my ma and pa! I love flying too much. Speaking of flying, a little birdie told me I could find some nicer eagles in that tree over yonder, so off I go. And I do hope you straighten up and fly right someday.

With a love for adventure and a cheeky sense of fun,

Being brave isn’t about finding things easy, it’s about doing things because they must be done, even when they’re hard. Everyone expects this lion to be brave because he has a mane, but he has problems. As a cub, he was trodden on by an elephant. Since then, being brave became one long struggle. A trusted friend of Scaredy Cat, he knows he should be brave, and he tries very hard to protect others he loves. But if being brave was easy, it wouldn’t be bravery at all! Will your pet go alongside him as he faces his fears, facing them together?

A salamander sizzles on the rocks in his spots!
When the sun is bright and clear,
then this salamander's here!
With his hide all black and yellow
He is such a pretty fellow;
in weather clear he'll never fear to bask on the rocks.

It’s all very well for other pets to hide under trees when the rain falls. I can’t! Well not under little ones. So one day I’m brown yellow brown yellow brown, and the next I walk right through a rainbow. Like wow! I’m so glad to be unique!

Yeehaw! Look at me ride; I can ride anything. I don’t need a saddle; I hang and on and go. I love the wind in my fur and watching the ground move past me as I ride along trails or on open plains.

I can ride forever, but if I am riding a horse, I must stop now and then to rest the horse. Bikes, motorscooters, snowmobiles, I can ride them all. Why not join me on a ride across the plains? You may need some goggles to keep the bugs out of your eyes.

Did you know that we flounders can change our colours to camouflage ourselves when lying right on the bottom of the ocean floor? How cool is that? Can you spot me blending into my environment? I bet you don’t have such a splendid way to hide from your enemies! Another fun fact is that we have both eyes on one side of our head, so we can peek out of our hiding place while lying on one side. It’s very handy for reading in bed! Just don’t give me one of those awful punning names like British fish ‘n’ chip shops do, like the Happy Sole or the Plaice to Be ...

My favourite day is any day where the sky is clear and the sun is shining bright in the sky. I love to flitter among the blossoming flowers and rippling tall grass, the light breeze warming my wings. Basking in the sun is the most relaxing part of my day - and it lasts all day!

Let’s be clear here, I’m clearly all about seeing things without the interference of pesky clouds, or any other weather!
My favorite days are crisp and blue, allowing me to see for miles! No smog, no fog, no haze or clouds to hinder a perfect weather day!
Clearly there is a bit of a mystery to these days, when you pull back the curtains to see the current weather conditions. Gazing longingly on that pristine horizon, the little question niggles in the back of your head, “Is cold out? Is it warm? What should I wear!” Only walking out the door will tell!
Ready? Set! Go!

There is an old yellow bear, you may have seen him walking around town, but you have surely seen him when you attend the PnF sporting events. This old bear loves sports, and even though he cannot participate as he did in his younger years, he loves to raise a paw and cheer on the participants while yelling out, “Reach for the stars.”

When you are as old as this silly old bear is, and when you have lived in a place for a long time, you make friends with everyone. This old bear spends lots of time talking to all the pets who live in PnF land.

He loves to chat about the weather, the different flavour honey has depending on the types of flowers the bees visited, and this old bear loves to discuss the PnF games, how the participants are doing and what their dreams are, and what new games could be added. Maybe a honey-tasting event; that is one game this old bear could participate in.

What a tiny little thing a bird is, yet how loudly it can sing! The joy which bursts forth from its tiny beak fills the air with music and lifts the heart of every pet which hears it. Why chase after things you hope will bring happiness, when happiness itself is the thing you truly seek? Does your pet’s heart sing in tune with this little bird?

Ever since Bunny got their shiny new, all extras included, pink Vespa, Bunny has been zooming around town, zipping around corners, beeping and waving to every pet they pass.

Such a deal. I wish, though, that Bunny would slow down around those corners.

Beauty can be found anywhere, and these fluffy little birds prize the beauty spots on their fluffy cheeks. They are so taken with them that they coo and cuddle each other and let other pets know that their beauty spots are where it’s at. Will they start a new trend? Only time will tell.
