This is no ordinary pup. While the cute lil one may look like a regular sweet and innocent pooch for you and your friends to play with you should know this pup and its relatives have been known to have strange powers. With one look of their beady eyes they can capture and trap your heart. One soft whimper and you will give in to their every demand. They just want to play and have fun but once you introduce them to your family know that you are theirs!

I am a Canadian wolf pup but in some places I am also called a grey wolf or timber wolf. No matter which name you prefer, I would love to tell you all about my family. The wolf pack I belong to consists of my mom and dad, four adult brothers and sisters and five littermates. Wolves are very social animals and the bonds of family are very strong within our pack. We live in remote areas of the wilderness throughout the continent of North America and try to avoid the neighboring packs as they are not very friendly and do not like visitors. I think they are relatives of The Big Bad Wolf of storybook lore. We love visitors though and you are welcome to stop by any time. We will make you an honorary pack member and my mom and dad can even teach you how to howl. Howling has many uses and it's a really important skill. We use it to gather the pack before a hunt, to warn or locate one another, and to communicate long distances throughout our vast territory. I am still learning; the only sounds I am able to make are little dog-like yelps and it makes me giggle every time those funny noises come out. I know I will be able to howl someday, but until then I will just keep practicing. Arrrooooooo!

Lawks-a-mussy! I’m wandering all around the PnF Gallery looking for my cousin Frazzle. The strangest thing is, I’ve never met Frazzle before, so I really don’t know who I’m looking for? I doubt my cousin will be as good looking as me, but it’s hard to say. Oh my stars! Did you just say that Frazzle looks a lot like me? Killer might be a little bit of a misnomer, the only things I kill anymore is the score in the water polo! With multiple medals hanging in my deep sea cave, I have been swimming with my team for about three years now, spiking and guarding the goal with ease. I’m hard at work training for the next round robin of Nationals, pushing myself faster and harder to block the ball when it comes toward me, flicking it for the set up with a smack of my tail. Must I rest and eat and sleep? Must I sit so still? It’s such a bother, being quiet, when your friends are on the hill. All I want to do is run, run as fast as the day is long. Patience is such a hard lesson when being still just feels so wrong. I am just so wiggly, it’s oh so fun, to be so eager to leap and hop and run. Oh, okay, it’s nice, sometimes, when snuggled up to you, to listen to your steady heart and feel your love come through. For that, I’ll sit a little longer.
