The fifth night of Hanukkah ~ The grace of God
Debbie James Several years ago my husband and I read a devotion about the significance of observing Hanukkah as a Christian. Since Jesus was Jewish, we thought it would be interesting. I will post each evening's devotion for any who wish to experience it with us. (scroll down)
The fifth candle: The grace of God. If the people only received God's judgement they would not and could not receive God's salvation. God's purpose in the Messiah is also to bring redemption. He is to be our sacrificial offering. Read Isaiah 53 and John 1:29.
