purple has many meanings that are linked and related to it. it is the color for national eating disorder awareness, as well as lupus awareness. it's also the color of royalty!! there's many food items that are some shade of purple too - grapes (and grape juice), eggplant, plums and even purple cabbage! who would have thunk it??? we even have some purple friends here in pnf! and many people claim that purple is their favorite color.

this week's challenge: use purple! your art doesn't have to be all purple - just make sure you use something we can see that is purple. nothing else to it!! can't get much simpler than that :D

the participation prize for this week: a full size violet puffball!! (he's shown in the lower right hand side of this image)
