scaredy cat and kaida are in rio for the pnf summer games and scaredy cat is not very happy. he's learned that when they created the special coins to award the competitors in their individual events, they neglected to create one for black cats. he has to settle for a coin with a grey kitten on it! he's never been grey a day in his life! he is one of the few members of his family that did not inherit the typical grey fur. and now he has to pay the price!! kaida, excited about qualifying for the fire breathing events, wishes she could console her friend, but all she can think about is competing for those amazing ribbons that are awarded to top finishers! they are so silky looking! she knows that they will look amazing against her blue skin. off in the distance, the scaly monster is just hoping he can find the football pitch so that he can show off his skills at the net. scaredy cat - he's not too sure that things are going to go well for these games. maybe he should have stayed home.

this week - it's opening week at the pnf summer games in rio! pets from all over have come to show off their athletic skills and compete for amazing awards! what is your pet going to do in this opening week of the pnf games? was your pet involved in getting the pnf games flames delivered to the main arena? did they have to travel from the far side of the globe? did they come with a large team or just a few members to represent their species?
