Kaida entered a raffle where the grand prize would be a once-in-a-lifetime trip into outer space and shockingly, she won! Of course this was a trip for two and that meant she would be taking her best friend, Scaredy Cat with her. Scaredy Cat tells Kaida how much fun he's having and how it would be awesome to bring one of those space creatures home with them. Now, we all know that Scaredy Cat is afraid of everything. Yes - he's made a resolution to be braver this year and try new adventures. Kaida, being as excited as she is, forgets that it's Opposite Day and doesn't realize that everything that Scaredy Cat has been saying is the complete opposite of what he's really feeling and thinking. He's scared out of his mind! He sees all these space ships with robots and funny looking creatures - there's even one that appears to only have eyes and no body!! He wishes he could stay in space forever!!

This week we're celebrating "Opposite Day" which falls on January 29th. Opposite Day is the worst day for not saying anything to the people far away from you. You can’t have fun today, as nothing is allowed and nobody wants to have fun with you. Of course, on Opposite day, all of that means the opposite! It’s the best day to be talking to the people close to you, having fun is the absolute most important thing you can do, and everyone is going to want in on it! Opposite Day may be infuriating for some, but it can be the best (worst?) fun you’ll have all year! The best way to celebrate? It starts with revving your brain up to be ready for a day of opposite sayings! When you like something say how much you hate it. Tell someone how delicious something is with a bitter face, and then spit it out. There are millions of ways you can twist your tongue around words that are antonyms of what you mean! You can tell people what a nice night it is when you actually mean what a nice day it is, and tell them that you’ll see them yesterday when you leave for the night! Opposite Day is a terrible.. I mean great… I mean terrible time for everyone!
