Scaredy Cat went on a field trip to the local art museum today with his new teacher. They went to look at some very famous (and not so famous) paintings in honor of World Art Day, which takes place on April 15th. Scaredy Cat was in awe at the wonderful works of color he saw as he made his way through each room. He saw paintings of people, animals, and even paintings with cans of soup! He was so excited that on his way home, he stopped at the craft shop and got the needed things to try painting. He went to the attic where it would be quiet and after getting some treats for his service dog, he started painting. He found that he really enjoys it and it actually helps keep his mind calm and focused. Today he worked on his rendition of the famous "Girl With a Pearl Earring" - and his version he lovingly named "Kitty With a Topaz Earring". Maybe this is good enough to hang in the museum?

This week we're celebrating World Art Day! Can your pet recreate some of the world's most famous paintings and art work? Do they have what it takes to come up with their version of The Mona Lisa? Can they put their own spin on some of Picasso's well known paintings? Let your pet's creative juices flow and have them create their own version of art that hangs in some of the world's best known museums and then we can have our very own art show!!

VERY IMPORTANT: Please keep in mind that this is a family friendly game with minor children playing (some as young as 3-5 years old). Please do not portray anything with nudity or anything that would not be appropriate for young children to see.
