It is the start of the Lunar New Year and Scaredy Cat has been invited to a private celebration with Cupig's family. Scaredy Cat learns that the holiday is the beginning of a year whose months are coordinated by the cycles of the moon and is celebrated in many Asian countries, as well as other locations around the world and this year, it is the Year of the Pig! There are all sorts of foods and drinks that are typically served at the start of the new year and he's aware that there may be many things that he's never eaten before. The room is decorated with colorful paper lanterns and the table already has several dishes and bottles awaiting them. His biggest worry is how on earth is he going to eat? They have these sticks that they call chopsticks - but how do you use them? Do you spear the food with them? How are you supposed to eat the noodles and rice? What about the broth? You can't eat broth with a stick. Oh dear....hopefully there will be something served that he can just pick up with a paw.

It's the Year of the Pig and of course Frank and his family, along with Cupig, are in hog heaven that they are being recognized!! How do you and your pet plan to celebrate Frank and Cupig's favorite holiday? Will you try to prepare an authentic meal and even use chopsticks to eat with? Go to a restaurant and pig out! Sample the many foods that are only available this time of the year. Check out the local parades! Have a party! Wear red clothing and take a family photo!
