Making the Best of It
lisa Scaredy Cat is sitting at his computer, waiting for it to boot up. He and his friends are doing school lessons online at the moment because there's a serious illness affecting communities all over the world that has caused lots of changes. One of those changes is that schools are closing everywhere, but the school officials are urging the students to take advantage of online educational sites to help them stay on their learning track. When he's done with his lessons for the day, he's planning to do some video chatting with Bob and some of his close school friends so that they don't lose touch with one another. Later, after dinner, he'll spend some leisure time playing some online games, including Pets 'n' Friends, where they currently have a really fun quest taking place. He's learning that there's a whole big world out there via the internet where he can learn, play and even spend some time with friends and loved ones. Maybe tomorrow, he'll see if the library has some digital books that he can read on the computer - he's heard that there are apps that make this possible. Mom has already ordered some neat arts and crafts to be delivered so that he can tap into his crafty and artsy side. Hopefully, being stuck at home for a while doesn't get boring. This week, we are all feeling the effects of the Coronavirus in one way or another. It's impacting their lives in many ways - from work places being closed or modifying their operating hours, schools are being closed and moving to online learning options to grocery stores running out of essential supplies (food, toiletries, etc...) to cancellation of sporting seasons and even cancellation of religious services. In this time of uncertainty, we want to know how your pets are going to make the best of these changes. Will they be like Scaredy Cat and embrace the new ways to explore and learn? Will they try to hit the stores and stock up on those home essentials just in case? Will your pet read to its heart's content and even more? Or will your pet throw caution to the wind and say "the heck with this" and try to do as they would normally do as long as things are open to do so? How will your pet handle the changes taking place in their life right now? Here's the basics: *Your submission MUST be related to the theme *You must submit your art to the PnF art gallery - only entries there will be counted. https://apps.facebook.com/petsnfriends/community.p... * Put "Making the Best of It" in the title or description * The entry with the most votes will be declared the winner. * To vote, click the "vote" button - you may vote for as many entries as you want * Voting will be open immediately * This challenge will be open from now until around 12:00am GMT March 24th (around 8:00pm Tuesday night in the USA).
