Scaredy Cat looks around with disbelief - there’s so much garbage and recyclables left all over from the aftermath of Bob’s weeklong Big Birthday Celebration! Bob’s happy to help with sorting out the compostables from the recycles and then sort the actual trash into the bins. He even recruits some of the stragglers from the last party to help with the cleaning and sorting. Not quite done with the celebrations, Bob suggests to Scaredy Cat that they have some creative fun taking their trash bin to the curb! Bob was surfing around social media and found a fun page about hoomans and pets doing creative and fun things to get the bin to the curb. It initially started in Australia and word got out and now it’s being done all over the world!! Pets and hoomans are dressing up as superheroes; some have created trains to get the bins to the curb and there was even some photos taken of a bridal party having fun at a nearby trash bin! Scaredy Cat thinks about this for a moment and thinks that this could actually be fun. Sure - why not turn a dreadful chore into something that will be amusing and maybe even a bit exciting! This week we’re going to have our own bin outings. Grab your bins and get ready for some fun. Turn your bin into a work of art! Put on a costume and take a photo of yourself at the bin. Be a new superhero! Grab your friends and have a bin party, wearing your most outlandish party gear! Decorate the bin and make it a masterpiece! Show that taking out the trash doesn’t have to be something you dread! Oh yeah - make sure with all the fun you’re having that you remember to wear your mask (you can always decorate your mask to match your costume or theme)!!
