Aquarius
Aquarius' hooman's favourite celebrations are the traditional cultural celebrations she was privileged to attend in Kiribati and in Papua New Guinea. Whole communities come together to prepare for, participate in, and feast together during these celebrations. The performances are highly visual, with elaborate traditional costumes and masks. They are also auditory, because the stories are accompanied by music created on traditional locally made instruments, and are enacted through song, dance and drama. These stories are the oral histories of nations and their cultures, handed down through generations, in traditional cultural celebrations.
