Scaredy Cat can't sleep. It's Christmas Eve and he knows that if he's awake when Santa comes to visit, Santa may not leave any presents for him!! How can Bob sleep after the story they heard? They were reading the classic tale of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" at the rec center (where there was story time with cookies and hot cocoa) and once they got past the first line, Scaredy Cat's nerves started twitching. How can you ignore this:
'Twas the night before Christmas,
when all through the house,
not a creature was stirring,
not even a mouse.
A mouse!! Creatures!! Scaredy Cat is pretty sure that he's seen mice and creatures stirring around the house. Oh how is he going to get any sleep before Santa comes? Oh dear.......

This week it's all about what happens on that magical night before Christmas!! Will Santa come visit your pet? Are there traditions that your pets do before they go to bed? Do they open one present or see what they got in their stockings? Maybe they put all the key participants into their nativity scene showing the events leading up to Christ's birth. Do they read "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" like so many families do? Do you have a Christmas Eve party with friends and family with Christmas music playing in the background? Do you put out a plate of cookies with a glass of cold milk for Santa (and maybe a plate of celery and carrot sticks for the reindeer)? Tell us how you and your pet are going to celebrate that last night before Christmas arrives!!
