Scaredy Cat
Today we find Scaredy Cat with his emotional support dog JJ and Bob checking out the local Pirate Festival. Scaredy Cat is wondering how Bob convinced him into attending this festival. Swashbuckling pirates is not exactly something he thought he would ever be interested in! Bob is behind him, playing in the crow’s nest and yelling out, “Arrr me 'earties! So ye think ye want to learn the vast secrets o' this here sacred day that there soon be upon us?”. Scaredy Cat doesn’t understand half of what Bob is saying. He tells Scaredy Cat that it's “International Talk Like a Pirate Day”. “All ye gots to do be say “Aaarrr”. Scaredy Cat thought that should be easy enough to do since cats growl, so he gave it his best shot and it was an impressive sound he made. JJ was quite proud of Scaredy Cat for trying. The trio had fun exploring the imitation pirate themed day, talking like a gentleman o' fortune, and decided when it was over, they would go home and watch Pirates of the Caribbean and Treasure Island so they could play act as pirates anytime they wanted.

September 19th is International Talk Like a Pirate Day, so you probably have guessed what this week’s art challenge is about. How will your pets celebrate? Will they wear eye patches, bandanas, or pirate hats? Maybe pose with their parrots or monkeys? Maybe they can host a treasure hunt or display their hidden treasures? Whatever it is you do, make sure you use awful grammar and jump right into that their accent.
