Scaredy Cat
Scaredy Cat and Bob are visiting Rabbits Hallow with Pink, the Jumping Rabbit. One requirement to visit was that they wear bunny ears. Bob had brought popsicles as a treat that they used in a pinch. Bob was hoping this tour didn't take too long, otherwise all they would be left with is sticks. Scaredy Cat was concerned about the sticky juice sticking in his fur. As they were thinking about that, Pink was sharing some interesting facts about rabbits such as a baby rabbit is called a kit and that they live in warrens which are a series of tunnels that they dig underground. Pink went on to also share that their athletic leap is known as a binky, and they purr when they are content and relaxed. Scaredy Cat liked that he had that in common with the rabbits. Pink also explained that rabbits’ teeth never stop growing! Instead, they are gradually worn down as the rabbit chews on vegetables, flowers, and grass. Bob giggled and said, "maybe that's why my teeth aren't so long, since I am constantly snacking." Together they met the other bunnies, left with only their popsicle sticks and were excited to go home and look up more informative facts on rabbits.

This week is all about the bunnies! Rabbits are some of nature's gentlest creatures. They are small, soft, and cuddly, but also very clever and strong! Rabbits love carrots, but they cannot survive on them alone. Rabbits reproduce quickly and there are many rabbits in PnF to prove that. Aside from the famous tortoise and hare story, rabbits have been part of popular folklore, mythology, and culture for hundreds of years. Perhaps you can create a scene depicting some famous characters or other interesting facts about rabbits? Or a lovely scene depicting your appreciation for them.
