Scaredy Cat
"What a beautiful night" Scaredy Cat thought to himself while looking up at the starry skies in the garden.
Quietly, Scaredy Cat starts singing to himself.
"Twinkle, twinkle, little star,
How I wonder what you are.
Up above the world so high,
Like a diamond in the sky."
"That's a great song" Bob commented as he arrives and joins his friend in the back garden.
"It's a classic nursery rhyme - I'm sure you've heard of it before." Scaredy Cat explained.
"Can't say I did. Mind you I didn't go to any preschool when I was young." Bob laughingly replied.
"Oh no...poor Bob. You've missed out on one of the most nostalgic experiences growing up. Even if you didn't learn any of it from school, some of your family members must've read it to you at some point,” said Scaredy Cat.
"Well, I'm a monster so we don't have any of that growing up, but I loved hearing you recite it just now. Are there any more of those nursery rhymes? Bob asked.
"There's plenty of them. You know – you just give me an idea. How about we ask everyone at the Community Center to do their art in an interpretation of their favorite nursery rhymes? You can learn them via their artwork too. It'll be fantastic!" Scaredy Cat said excitedly.
"That's great!! I'll look forward to it. I wonder if there's a nursery rhymes about food...yummy" Bob replied.

Nursery rhymes are back!! Show us your art depicting your favourite nursery rhymes. Maybe you know one by heart or someone has read one to you when you were young. However you know it, we would love to see it in your art.
